A tough decision, but the right one was made.....

After years of knowing my relationship with my wife was really good sex, and nothing more; we both agreed to dissolve our marriage. We are the attractive and fit bodies in high school. If we didn't have children (2 teenage boys), we wouldn't have lasted this long. As a man, I never thought or believe I would say these words, I CAN NOT BE MARRIED TO SOMEONE WHO ISN'T MY FRIEND FIRST. The sex was unbelievable, but once it was over, it was over. Besides our sons, we had nothing in common, different values, and different education levels. We are both mature about this, and I agreed to move my things out. This is totally against my attorney's advice, but morally I know it's the right thing to do. We are trying to keep things in some type of order for the children (school, friends, activities, etc..). Initially, I worried about the nasty thing you hear about regarding divorce, but I learned if you are honest/open and trying to bullshit your spouse, things can work out. Yes, I am taking a financial hit, because I'm leaving the house to her, but it's a small price to pay for my piece of mind, and my sons' stability. Sex is important in any relationship, but it's a weak foundation to build a relationship on.....
