Did You Enjoy Your SATs As Much As I Did?

I have always loved taking tests. There is something very stimulating about testing my mental capacity under pressure in a timed situation. When combined with both the proper mental and physical state it can produce an amazing climax…and help me do better on the test amazingly enough.

I have had more non-physically produced orgasms from taking tests than in any other situation. I think it is the adrenaline that pumps through my body combined with the fear and anxiety that causes this. I’m sure this is why I love doing it in public places. The worry and excitement that you might get caught, is not too different from the same emotions that arise as you worry about finishing your test on time, or getting the answers right.

It all began in biology class during my junior year of high school. I was taking the mid-semester exam and I had been waiting to relieve myself because I knew I only had a limited amount of time to take the test. With only five minutes left in class, and five questions to go (yikes!), I was already starting to get anxious and began to fidget in my seat. Eventually I began to feel a strange sensation right behind my bladder. It felt far too good to be the normal sensation of having to relieve myself. This felt awesome!

I tried to take my mind off of it and concentrate on my test. The distraction pushed my anxiety level up a notch or two. Trying to concentrate on my exam, and the time I had left, and whether my answers were right, and how important this test was, all while trying to avoid thinking about the feeling between my legs was just too much. A tremendous shudder went through my entire body and I literally gasped out loud and smacked my hand on my desk, forcing my neighbor to look up in surprise. I eventually finished the test and quickly ran out to use the ladies room. By that time, I could hold it no longer; but it had served its usefulness.

As it turned out, it was my best grade on a test ever in that class. There is something about anticipating, and eventually having, an orgasm that forces me to concentrate even harder. I always made sure to drink a lot before all of my tests and tried and hold myself until I couldn’t hold it any longer. While everyone else was pacing around biting their nails before their test I sat back and relaxed, waiting for my bladder to perform it’s duty. The more important the test, the better the orgasm. I have very fond memories of my SAT, my LSAT, my GRE, and the California Bar (which was a delightfully three day affair). I did quite well on all of them, thank you very much. Perhaps this is why got so many degrees….

I don't do well on those tests. Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and I was taking college entrance examinations, I took the ACT. You don't hear so much about it now. Took that mother down at Cleveland State. I came home home feeling pounded flat and hung out to dry. I was hung over for days...

I can relate in terms of an emotional climax at having passed, first a Math SAT, and then a Critical Thinking SAT. I wanted to celebrate, big time! But there was no one there for me to celebrate with! Damn!
You see, I am an ONLINE student and finished in the quite night time hours. The math test left me exhusted, but the Critical Thinking was entirely different! I still have the English Composition to do. Not sure how I will react. Maybe I can get someone to stand by ready just in case!

Wow, Frogger... wow!

I drank a lot too before my SAT... the night before. Had drunken naked sex all night long, got in a fight, got two hours sleep, showed up late - but one teacher let me in. I did OK but not great - 1200s, but my percentile was way off from the percentile on my ACT (took both) which I took clean, sober, and well-rested. So, the schools only got my ACT scores.

straycatsetsuko - the ACT is still around, and is actually gaining popularity because of California whining about the SAT being unfair.

You wanna take my Architectural Exams for me. One a month for nine months. Although that kind of sounds like a long term relationship now doesn't it.

My best orgasm associated with test taking was after a 48-hour-no-sleep cram session, when I got home my girlfriend was ready to go and didn't want to wait until after my test the next morning. I was so tired the orgasm shook my whole body. I felt great the next morning and got the 'A' on the test I needed.

I still need to take my GRE to get back into the Ph.D. program, and considering I haven't had a math class in *ehem* over ten years, I am little anxious. How where your GRE scores?

This is a delightful blog by an obviously very intelligent woman. You remind me of a short story by I believe Kurt Vonnegut called "Hookers for Mensa."I have never thought of a test as erotic but I do find intelligent women sexy e.g Diane Sawyer. When women has good articulation and an extensive vocabulary, I get chills. For me intellience is a real turn on.

Having pulled an all-nighter studying for a test, I managed to fall asleep during the exam! Needless to say I didn't do to well on that test (It was a mid-term), but did well on the final and saved the day...

For all the adrenaline during tests though, the most nervous I 've felt was when my students were being tested during my T.A. gig...

I didn't do the SAT. I took the ACT and almost aced it (95 percentile). The funny thing is, that for most of it, I just closed my eyes and filled in random answers.

Well, had we had you squirming in your seat right next to us frogger we might never had made it past high school. Thanks for sharing about your test anxiety and it's pleasurable silver lining.

SAT: 1486 combined score (1600 total possible/combined Math/Verbal), first and only try, no prep-tests, and no cheating calculator. I destroyed the math portion, and was done with 7-8 minutes to spare.

ACT: 95%+ first and only try.

Life: 100% because beautiful, intelligent, people/bloggers like you exist.

I think that many people just never get "in the zone" of taking academic tests. The stimulus experienced from taking tests can become almost habit-forming: the preparation/discovery, the weeding, then the exhilaration felt when the information/answers/compositions literally effortlessly flow from your consciousness to the tester/paper/computer. Likewise, at the conclusion of a challenging and mastered test, when endorphins are flooding your brains sensory synapses, can in mimic the rush felt at orgasm in many respects.
Thus, the intellectual "high."

Well, maybe not that good...

Ok, After Lucky's comment let me rephrase: I did fairly well, thank you very much.

SAT: 1260 first try BUT no prep tests either (not even a practice test except the one PSAT) and did have time to spare as well.

LSAT: 167 (180 total possible score)

GRE: I honestly don't remember but it got me in with a graduate assistantship so that is what counts.

CA BAR: Passed the first time (thank god!)

Life: Still taking that test...but so far so good

Once again you have bested me in describing "stuff." I will cower in my corner, quite humbled.

Please accept my apology if I hurt you, or otherwise made you feel uncomfortable in any way, as I merely hoped to answer your question while complementing your article, and not compete with you.

Wow! Great score on your LSAT, and the CA BAR! Congratulations!

BTW: I have a serious weakness for pineapple pizza, too!

Excellent choice for a quote lucky, what a fascinating man Einstein was. Did you know he guessed accurately the power of the first atomic bomb explosion which he witnessed by letting bits of paper drift to the ground as the shock wave passed? Pretty awesome guy. Sorry frogger, I couldn't resist that, and BTW, I think you're pretty fascinating too.

Is 1486 even possible? 'Cause I think that the way the scoring goes, it's got to end in a 0 or a 5.

Anyone? Anyone?
