What IS that smell?????????

There are times, walking past a bakery or past a certain area and I get a whiff of something that makes me go...."MMMMMMMMMMMM".

Certain smells can get ones imagination going and enhance their libido also. They will allow the person smelling them to do many things....good or bad....here is my list of smells that are...

Number 1 smell to me: Leather: be it shoes, pants, purses, saddles, chaps, belts, (nothing beats riding a horse)
My Lilac tree in the back yard on a breezy day
A baby's room
Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies
Vanilla (mix this with leather and Oooooh baby!)
Certain coffees
Freshly cut grass or wood
Polo Cologne
A coloring Marker

Cat or dog puke
The stuff these Germans use to fertilize their fields
Over-used cat litter box
Feet ( ANY feet)
Burnt or rusted metal
Old Milk (or anything else in fridge with fur)
Certain Perfumes on older ladies
Someone who has not bathed in a week (and covers it up with cologne or perfume)
Skunks (obviously)
"Fomunda" Cheese (ask me and I will tell you)

What smells make you think and feel good things and what smells give you the "Heebie Jeebies?"

What's Fomunda cheese, ma'am?

There are quite a few cheeses whose niff reminds me of trainer insoles that have been worn to one to many athletic meetings ... one of my least favourite smells.

For what it's worth I love the smell of lavender, even though I'm having to work hard to shake off a piece of cultural conditioning from my childhood that insists that lavender water equals grandmas!

I also adore the smell of Lush's "Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds" bath bar (I guess you won't have that shop over there), scented with oils of patchouli, frankincense and cinnamon - heaven!

And, of course, the smell of a fresh bacon butty does something to me that, frankly, worries me!
