Nip it, tuck it....fuck it!

I get the STAR magazine each week and I also see the reports on celebrities who have had "procedures" done to enhance their looks or to "STOP" the aging process. And everytime, it actually disgusts me because of the extremes they go to for this purpose. Do they have so much money to play with that they feel the need to mutilate themselves in the name of beauty? Beauty is skin deep and a natural thing. I can understand if there has been a deformity that one is born with or if they need plastic surgery to repair some damage from a disfiguring accident....but to blatantly go out there and have this done for no reaon but to be spending thier fortune is absolutely ridiculous to me. They are being vain and vanity only produces idiocy.....

Look at these actors and actresses for example:

Meg Ryan, Melanie Griffith, and Lisa Rena all have had their lips done so much they would not sink in a hurricane in the middle of an ocean....can we try this theory? ...PLEASE?

Mickey Rourke and Micheal Jackson both should have chosen a full labotomy in lue of plastic surgery cause they have went too far.

Pamela Andersen, Tara Ried, Kimberly Stewart have all had their boobs done so many times that their boobs looks like two cement melons implanted on their chests! How can they walk properly?????

I mean c'mon.....all this money they spend could go to help the less fortunate....I mean if they are that adamant on throwing their hard earned money away, why not for a cause and not for a boob or lip job?????

I am sorry but, all these implants, fillers, botox injections, removing this and adding that is making me sick.....There are so many "naturally" beautiful people who are that way from the inside....Bryan Adams, Paul Newman, Julia Roberts, Shirley MacClaine, the singer Seal, just to name a few naturally beautiful people...these people never changed a thing....even when they would be inclined to do so..Look at Barbara Streisand...that nose.. or Bette Midler..she is not the most beautiful woman but GOd Love her for not changing herself...Joaquin Pheonix has a hair lip...and look how big a "sex symbol" he has become......getting my point yet???

Beauty is the person inside, not what they show on the outside.....and I personally would rather hug the person NOT the procedure.....

I haven't got a problem with people making themselves more secure by ammending their assets.

I personally would not entertain surgery other than to repair damage as a result of an accident or something that seriously affect my self esteem and therefore quality of life.

Having said that, if someone decides that they want to change something to improve their appearance in their mind then I won't stop them or criticise them. However I could never condone Bride of Wildenstein or even Leslie Ash's "allergic reaction" to botox

Well, I had a breast reduction (quality-of-life issue) and to me it was worth every penny.

These people who are addicted to plastic surgery have serious self-image issues. Why not accept yourself as you are?

Div...indignant??? No, not me...I am very happy with me and mine...jealousy is a wasted emotion......waste in the same.. kind of like these millionaires wasting money on plumper asses when they could feed 100's of starving children instead. And as for make up and nice clothes......I am not one for either. I wear my jeans and work boots proudly....I do not need material items to make me who I am.....make-up is another issue...I do not wear that either...maybe a little mascara but I do not think make-up and wardrobe holds any weight when compared to plastic surgery......I can take off my designer jeans when I feel like it....but can I do the same for a set of bazoombas the size of Matterhorn?......didn't think so!

If you want the extreme, you should see the second story in the new Doctor Who series (The End of the World), just starting in US on SciFi. The last descendant of the human race on earth, circa 5.5 billion AD, is a face and skin in a frame. The ultimate in "thin". I have to admit it almost made Michael Jackson look "normal" by comparison.

Who cares what a person looks like. The beauty is all inside. The catch is that not eveybody can see the beauty in everyone else.
That's to bad.
Free I'm with you.

Free, I couldn't agree more The cult of celebrity glamour has gone a bit too far these days and some celebs seems prepared to go to incredible lengths to achieve their goal.

Sophia Loren is another naturally beautiful person who springs to mind

Apparently, ladies who are dissatisfied can even get themselves a 'Designer Vagina' - now that boggles the mind, doesn't it? Instant virgin recreation!!! Yeah, and who's kidding who?

I see your point, but you come off a bit indignant as if you are jealous.

Nothing wrong with them spending their money the way they want.

I prefer women who are natural, all the way around.

However, you only live once. Might as well do what you want while you can.

*hopeful smile*
Oh, can we please?

I agree. How many children could be fed with the amount of money that American's spend on cosmetic procedures? There are so many worthy causes and charities that people could donate that money to, instead of spending it on trivial vanity.
