I need a name and quick!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awhile back I bitched and moaned about what my daughter was to name her upcoming baby boy. Well, the tables have rotated, she is no longer having a boy...it is now a girl. So, in the aspect of femininity, I ask you all to help a gal out. She has the name Patience Grace picked out for the baby. I like the name, however, is this child being set up for ridicule? I adore the name Grace so I want that kept in there. What do you think would go with Grace? I wanted Emma, but Patience prevailed so to speak. I know, before anyone chastises me for being the granny butt-insky, my daughter asked me to get help... so there! You cannot rag me for that! LOL SO, tell me all your thoughts on this. Trust me any help will be awarded postumously! LOL
Also, maybe if I try my motherly method of crying...think it will get her to name the baby Emma Grace??? Hmmmmmm, I will let you know how that one turns out TheQuietGuy, ok???

Want names that go with the last name as well! My wife was hot on the name Dmitri for our son but it would not make sense with my last name and sound like a Turk married a German! Traditional English names seem to be what you are going for, such as Elizabeth and Mary!

Whatever has happened to the "regular" names for children? I work at a physicians answering service and let me tell you it is getting more and more difficult to spell the names people are giving there children. Now I totally respect your right to name your kid whatever you want, but I think it is getting a bit ridiculous. Names are combined, shortened, lengthened until it is impossible to spell as well as pronounce at first glance. Parents do not think about the effect a name will have on a child in the future. Kids can be cruel and tease the child with the strange name.

As for the choices, I prefer Emma Grace. Sounds smoother and just rolls off the tongue...
