Being a Vampire in todays society...

My hubby awoke to see my daughter, The Poot and I sitting in the computer room. We were watching a DVD on the portable DVD player, the baby was in her Pac 'N Play, and I on the computer blogging.

He walks in and says...."you two are like Vampires, open the window or something."

But, no....why should we? We want to sit in the dark. Plus, how many vampires have a DVD player, a baby close by and internet access?

I mean really now.....I just cannot imagine The Poot as a "Baby Drakul". What will she do....gum your neck??? Poor thing has not even come close to getting her fangs yet....

As for me and the daughter.....we have come accustomed to life in the dark. There has been no sun per say so we are pretty much in the dark anyhow. And I do know for a fact, my dughter is not into for me....I can handle blood, I can handle fangs and I can also handle sucking things......

So.....if we want to be little vampires in our own little world, then so be it.....

"I MAY vant to suck your blood"............Or I may not.....

So, what movie or version of Dracula have you all liked? I have always been partial to Christopher Lee's version. But, I also got into Antonio Banderas in Interview with A damned sexy with that pale skin and long jet black hair.....(suck me baby!!!!)

(thinks I may need an extra hour or so of sleep)

Can't beat Lugosi in the 1930's version...he did originate the role on the European stage.

However, Frank Langella in the 1970's was gorgeous....I would have bitten first.

For me....there can only be one and that's the original.

I did enjoy IWTV and have it in my collection, a truly classic film and enjoyed both Brad Pitt and Kirsten Dunst....also gotta love Roger Lloyd Pack (Drink up Trig we're leaving)

For sheer comedy value and weirdness I love Quentin Tarantino's From Dusk to Dawn....or maybe it's just Salma Hayek!
