I have in NO way stated in my post that I know it all, think I know it all, or need to be told all. I completely support our troops. we ALL know they are doing their 'job'. Most do not know thier orders until the second they need to, and then they are not allowed to tell anyone outside that immediate circle. That is for their safety.
They have been lied too, as have we all about certain things. Check it out... Lots of political toss ups going on, fast back tracking.. speeches... We heard them here as I am sure you have also.
My point was the tears on the childrens faces after being told that mom or dad had to go away again, or that they were not coming home as planned, when they only had a day or 2 to wait.
Shopping around here in town, you run into the soldiers who have to return, and you can see the stress and emotional fatigue in their faces. You see a father playing with his kids, trying to get months packed into a day. They are stronger people then I am. But we all do what we need to do, and this is thier jobs. T

When a parent goes into harms way, it's always hardest on the kids. This goes for the military, police, and firefighters too.
Wishing you well ...

I hear ya T and fully agree! It sucks when our armed forces don't get to be home and rotations change with no notice. Yes they are doing there job and I am grateful to them, I just feel bad for there families
