pets...

I have just spent the morning laughing inside the house, trying to ignore the whines of our dog to be let in.
He is a total people dog. If he is outside and you are not and will whine if not otherwise occupied, like with his toys or pool. But if not, and he sees you or hears you.. forget it.. you cannot ignore him for long.. My bedroom window is right there where his leadline is tagged. I caught him the other day, up on the side of house, whinning into my window. He had heard me get up..lmao
I call him 'dork' and it fits him.. He is only 9 months old, 85# with a 10" foot.. still not done growing, to my horror and the vets amusement.
I have never known a dog who loves to play on his back or sleep on his back like this one does. He will flop over, and play with his toys in his paws. He sleeps in total abandonment on his back..all sprawled out. He even sleeps on the couch..he first grabs the little toss pillows and curls up with them. He's a dork..
I just went and brought him in. I look at him and hes shivering like its cold out...but shivers stop as soon as he hits the door..lol. He wiggles so bad I think hes gonna turn himself inside out.
He sleeps in my room with me till my son gets home from work, then he comes and gets him. I wish now I had gotten my son a dog while he was young, or had been able to let him have one.(I am a firm believer that dogs need a place/yard to be able to play in, which we never had really. Or the money to take care of a dog.)
Dork lets me know when my son gets home. He can no longer sneak in house..He gets up growling and all furred up til he sees whos there.. damn, if I had him when son was still 15 or so..lmao

Sexy, he does. I am really surprised at it too. I have not had a dog around since I was a child myself. He is a riot.. T

Screw.. Yes, I have always had pets, mainly cats. I lost mine last summer. We do not know what happened to her. Just gone. We think maybe an owl or an eagle got her. Maybe a dog in neighborhood. I still go to the shelter to look at reports..theres always a change..

AZ, well Duke/Dork is registered as a bull mastiff at the vets.. but, that is waht the moms owner says.. I say she is pit..which gives him a hellacious mix. Pit, mastiff, lab, great dane.. He is gonna be huge.. Just had him to vets again this evening, He has developed an infection in his neutering incision. She said he isn't done growing yet.. So he is laying on couch , on my heating pad, with his collar that the vets gave him, glaring at me..lmao

My folks have a Golden Lab named J.J.-hes reaching 10 years old and he acts just like Dork when he is outside, J.J. has all these toys to play with and BEGS you to throw that slobbery ball or stick,BUT if your inside and you let him outside to use the bathroom and then he will whine and scrape the door when he wants in, he can be out there for an hour doing the same repetitive thing of whine, scratch-grunt, whine, scratch-grunt, yet when you let him in, he wags his tail and strolls in like hes only been out there for less than 5 minutes.
What kind of dog is Dork ?
