deleted poem 9

This post has been removed due to copyright and liability concerns. If you would like a copy of the post, please email me, and we will discuss it. Please consider that I am a standard member and do not check my email on this site regularly, so it may be a few days before I can return your email.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but I have discovered some bloggers are threatening litigation and bringing other similar legal "strong arm tactics" to bear against fellow bloggers.

It's probably just another case of some idiot buying their own hype to the point that they think their excrement doesn't stink. Regardless, I want nothing to do with it, and I feel the removal of this content is required to protect my own interests.

Sorry for that double post..this thing told me it didnt post...delete one.... ALSO>>>>>>VERY IMPORTANT>>>> DO NOT CARRY WITH HOLLOW POINTS OR HYDRA SHOCKS OR ANYTHING LIKE THEM>...... JUST CARRY PLAIN BALL AMMO........... Ive spoken to a number of lawyers on this and they have been involved with shooting cases..... the PROSECUTION will try to make you look like an anima for carrying them, as they are MADE TO KILL OR SERIOUSLY injure... ya i know,......its a gun....but juries will be told you were LOOKING to kill by using an ammunition that is made for ONE REASON ONLY...... TO KILL OR MAME...... if you cant stop em with a 45 with Ball ammo you better run. I never carry anything but ball now.... I carry 2 all the time....the glock on my waist and a .380 or titanium 38 on my ankle.

44DD, Thank you for the groping. If I'd known I was going to get groped, I'd have put fewer clothes on when I got up this morning.

expat, for the record, HE started it! I think playing OFF each other is fine. But the day some one accuses us of playing WITH each other is the day I'll wish I'd left Traveling alone.

MiAmore62, Thanks for dropping by.

I almost got the Glock 36 instead of the 30. I liked it's smaller profile, but I've got HUGE hands, and the single-stacked magazine design of the 36 didn't give me enough to hold onto, and i was really wanting to try out a lasermax laser, and they didn't have one for the 36 at the time I was buying. I wish they had a laser for the HK USP. That was the pistol I really wanted.

I have the same size problem with the taurus, but it was a gift. I didn't pick it out myself.

I have Viginia, New hampshire, and Florida permits. I don't know which states those cover (I have a list filed away but I don't know them all right off the top of my head.) I think it covers 28 - 30 states though.

I agree with you that everyone should carry, in concept anyway. In reality, I've known some people who were too stupid to get out of the rain. The thought of them having loaded weapons makes me sweat.

That's not thunder you're hearing in the distance. It's me throwing a swearing, cursing, cussing fit. The %^%&^$(*^#_)()@&&^% picture won't stay posted with this entry for some reason. I've re-attached it 4 times.

MiAmore62, I hear you on the ammo issue. I talked with a lawyer who works for the NRA, and he told me not to use custom loads, for the exact same reason you mentioned.

He also cautioned me against carrying more than one spare mag, and he said I shouldn't carry two guns unless I thought it was absolutely neccessary. If you pack around three or four mags or carry multiple guns, it makes it easy for the prosecutor to say you were looking for trouble. But I do it sometimes anyway...

The lawyer didn't say anything about not using hollowpoints or hydrashoks, but you're right; if a round of ball ammo doesn't take a person down, I've got bigger problems than my choice of ammo. Also, I've noticed the hydrashoks shoot a little differently. I'd be better off all the way around to just carry ball. Hell, it's cheaper too.

Damn - all this talk about men packing heat is getting me hot. I don't know why, but the thought of the man that I'm with being able to protect me like that....mmmmm just does something to me.

Lusty, the day I meet a woman who is turned on by my pistol is the day I'll finally have it made.

I am very protective of my family, friends, and lovers, but at the same time I am very careful to not get carried away. There is a fine line between being protective and being possessive.

I'm rarely overtly protective. I try to see threats ahead of time and avoid them or handle them discretely so my partner doesn't even know she's being protected.

If anyone has any more comments on the gun topic, please, let's move it back to that post a bit further down my blog. We've really gotten away from the subject of this post, the poem.

Traveling, That post you linked is very similar. It was further back in your blog than I'd read so far. I've been meaning to go back and read it from the beginning. This would be a great day to do that.

All we need is a ten and a FIVER,
Car and keys and a sober driver,

humboldthonni, I've never referred to as a dragon before.

hmmm, but now that you have me thinking about it, I have been called many other animals/animal parts:

Horse's ass
Jack ass
cock sucker
deer (ok, it was "dear", but it's close!)
white rhino
bull headed
chicken with its head cut off
dirty dog

hmmm... probably others.

In all seriousness though, I have been archetyped only once before... I'll write you an entry about it.
