AFF Fitness Challenge, Week 3

I got my mountain bike out of the shop this last week and rode it as often as my candy ass would allow. I used to have my ass conditioned to that seat, but I reckon I’ve been off the bike too long. My ass hurts worse than that time I had to spend three nights in the county jail with Bubba.

Been doing a lot of stretching, push ups, crunches, bicep curls, and shrugs.

My diet still needs improvement, but it is better than I was doing. I am on a new diet. It’s called the “unemployed and flat broke diet.” It’s working very well so far.

The biggest draw back I had this last week was lack of sleep. I am also still under a great deal of stress, which definitely does not help.

But I am making some progress! hooray!

Should still be plenty of pawpaws....beechnuts are ready....hickory nuts, too. Like wild grages??? they're ripe now. Squirrel seasons in and rabbit, quail and deer seasons are a short ways off. Now that its coolin' off, the fish are bitin' again. Plenty of frogs and turtles. Ya'll got a Fall turkey season over there? Thought so. Always a few little crunchy appetizers under logs and rocks. Generate a little cash flow with gensing, although its about too late for that this year. Get yer ass in the woodline and go get ya somethin to eat, son. Be great for the stress part, too. And if your still hungry, stop on by, we always got plenty and an extra plate. Later.

PS: pride won't allow freebies, I know that....I will WILL work ya like a borrowed mule!!! lol

SLEEP. Hopefully your stress level has dropped dramatically since last night.

kpb2, I'm all about earning my keep. Life is so much simpler when you're just working for food and a place to lay down at the end of the day. I am tempted to take you up on the offer, but Lianna told me what you do with borrowed mules...

Sizzle, good luck to you too, man! Ya know, I think it is harder getting BACK into shape than it was when I got into shape the first time, cuz this time I keep thinking about what I used to be able to do, and I get discouraged.

kpb2, in all seriousness, I'd probably whine like a bitch and sleep like the dead for the first week, maybe two, and then I'd be fine. I'd just need a crash course to remind me that I do know how to work with my body as well as my brain.

(him) DUDE! I was on that diet most of this year! 'cept I called it the ramen/popcorn diet(subtitled the 'poverty diet'). Yeah, see one day I would eat 1 bag of ramen, the next day a bowl of popcorn. In 6 months I lost 35lbs, honest. It's funny, but totaly on the level.
Then I got married and found a couple of them lost pounds. Maybe I'll join your effort and actually work at it.
