Are we that judgemental?

I know that there have been some hoaxes in the past. These hoaxes have us being more cautious of people. This may not be a bad thing, but it can cause us to judge a situation before looking into it.

In the past months I became a visitor of tillerbabe's blog. She is a wonderful person and I had some good times with her in the blogs. I visited her blog today and read that her man that was sick in Asia passed away. My thoughts and paryers go out to her and the family of her loved one.

I have read some posts that stated this may be a hoax. I would like to mention that before you go accusing anyone of a hoax, please do your research. In the long run you may be wrong about accusations.

That is all I have to say.

There's alot more to the situation than this.

I don't know what the full story is, but I tend to believe that where there's smoke, there's fire.

Of course no one should jump to conclusions, but those who do obviously have justification in their minds to do so.

Seems like alot of drama to me.

I am sure that there is a lot more to the stiuation too. I have only read about this through tiller's blog, so I don't consider myself an expert in what the real story is. I just hate to see people jump to conclusions. I am sure we will find out more in the dyas to come.

I've only just found out about this situation and I still don't really know alot about what's going on. I wish Tiller the best and I'm sorry to hear about the loss of her man. Tiller if you read this and I can help you in any way then just let me know. *hugs* {=}

I don't know what is going on either. I don't like to see others badmouth a situation that has not been fully explained, thus the reason for this post.

I choose to believe people are telling the truth until there's enough proof to the contrary. And it IS true, there was confirmation from someone else who received that email, someone not connected to this Blogland group

Hopefully the confirmation will get to those people who chose to badmouth.

Thats crap that people would even say that about them! Just cause of what happened in the past we should not judge anyone!

You are so right. We will always have to deal with those who judge though.

Fire~ I was unaware of what has been going on with this situation. The news is heart breaking. I think people should be careful before crying fowl and if they need detective work done..should hire NSAADDICT, she is the pro.

I don't know how to do the research myself, but I know you guys did your research before coming out with a post. That is the way it should be.

Thanks for posting this...I feel so bad and I have no reason whatsoever to not believe heart goes out to her.

I just wish if people don't have something nice to say the shut the hell up until things calm down...
What is it with some they like the drama...will it make their blog more
Is that all they care about?...Words can be very damaging and the bad thing is..once they are said...people don't forget.
I am sure starting to see some ugly sides to people on here...what a shame we can't all be adult about the situation.

I personally feel for their loss...but that's just me, guess my heart has not become that cold yet and I pray it never does...thanks.

I honestly don't know why someone would post such a thing. I mean, we all are entitled to our own opinions. But I think that there should have been some research done before starting an online war. I am sure you all by now know who wrote such terrible things. I am not one to put up names though.

Yes, people are cautious because of the past. But jumping to conclusions is never good. There is enough drama.

Yes, people are judgemental... until they have been through the loss of an online love, crush, infatuation, madness themselves. I have been throught that, the intensity of the love you can feel for someone you don't really know, though of course, it was MY REALITY, not the same as Tiller and Brian's. We will never know the truth, only Tiller and Brian know that, so it is pointless to speculate and spread gossip. Yes, humans are cruel creatures, the base behaviour is part of our biology, it is competition, it is trying to get a "one-up" on others, which I something I have always personally detested. So what? Does it really matter in the long run? We are only linked by a computer screen here, NONE OF US REALLY KNOWS ANYBODY ON HERE, UNTIL YOU HAVE MET THEM AND SPOKEN TO THEM IN REAL LIFE, AND EVEN THEN YOU NEVER REALLY "KNOW" SOMEONE. SECOND TO THAT, NOBODY REALLY CARES ABOUT ANYONE ON THIS SITE OR CAN PROCLAIM THEM AS BEING THEIR FRIEND, UNTIL YOU HAVE MET AND SPOKEN TO THEM IN REAL LIFE, NOT EMAILS, NOT CHATTING ON IM, NOT EVEN ON THE PHONE. IT IS FOLLY TO PRETEND YOU HAVE "FRIENDS" ON HERE WHEN YOU DON'T. What we do on here is mainly an illusion. We create an illusion of having friends, when you and I know deep down that we don't really. Alot of us are just lonely or confused or bored and this medium is a replacement for what is missing in real life or where you can play out fantasy or vent your frustrations with the real world and that includes having a magical, romantic, unending and enduring perfect love. How do I know this? Well, I was there myself, last year and know intimately the pain this can cause when presented with the reality of real life. Having said that, for some people that is the best they can get. That may have been a problem between Tiller and Brian - they had no time to get to a real-life relationship because of Brian's work and that concerned me, as it did not "test" the relationship. However, there were other things going for it that Tiller spoke of which makes me believe it was real, it was certainly a real friendship, had it not been tragically cut short. We all have struggles and are doing the best we can to cope with what life has dealt us with, just as what Tiller and Brian were doing. How dare any of us judge what someone is doing. As for Tiller communicating with us online, I did the same thing after a while, because this is where it all started, just as it did with them, online, on THIS site. I can understand Tiller letting us know but I can also understand just how painful it is to be on this site, by reminding her constantly of Brian. By logging on, you hope to gain understanding from the community, just as in real life, Tiller would know his family and relatives, but she did not, so she came here for support, her online "friends". Isn't that understandable? Please people, by all means be cynical about what happens on here, but please just have enough of a body temperature to realise that what happens online is PAINFUL and DOES HURT and allow others to the right to feel that pain.

Maybe I live in a fantasy world, but I still like to think that I have made some friends here. I do understand what you are saying though.
