Living in the wrong era

As far as what society on the whole finds attractive I feel I am living in the wrong era. Today it's all about tanned hard athletic bodies. I am a natural redhead so therefore I can not tan to save my life. I am as white as a white girl can get...we are talking glow in the dark white...lol. I have a voluptuous curvy body...not a BBW mind you but definitely not a skinny minnie either. Now if I was living in the Renaissance era I would be the epitomy of hot sexy woman! They loved their women with some meat on their bones and the paler you were the more attractive you were and redheads were craved for their gorgeous locks and pale skin....sigh. Anyone have a time machine?

It's true that a lot of people put a premium on tanned hard bodies, but judging from your picture I don't think you'll have any problems.
There's a good number of natural redhead fans out there.

Don't be so down. There's nothing sexier than a voluptuous red head. The anorexic model look that is "in" today is NOT sexy at all. It takes curves to make a woman. Celebrate your beauty! xox

Well, I just came back from a piano bar called "Redheads" and there wasn't a lady in sight with any red (excepting the drawings on the wall). I sure wouldn't have minded casting my eyes your way.... though I was quite happy with the blondes...

I've listed myself as athletic because I've played a ton of sports, won the awards, etc, but I certainly wouldn't say I'm a "hard-body". To be frank, a lot of that is ego feeding, not true health.

Perhaps instead of you living in the wrong era (or returning to a previous one), maybe you're ahead of the game for the era to come - where all people learn to find their true beauty, both internally and externally, on their individual basis. The idea that society should define beauty based on one narrow definition is as absurd as the society defining health on such similarly narrow terms. We, humans, vary so greatly across such a wide range of spectrums that we'll never be happy unless we embrace the full spectrum of diversity and learn to revel/celebrate in our individual uniqueness.

(Apologies, I just joined this site so I don't know protocol for posting.....)

Lastly, have you considered that their are a great many "societies" out there besides American Pop/Hollywood culture. For example, you'd certainly turn plenty heads in say Roma, Paris, or Barcelona - the Europeans have different definitions of "beautiful" in every city/country. So need for a time machine, just a tour guide and plane ticket.

BTW - if you ever in Philly and like to dance, email me...

Hey! Where's my comment? I can't believe it I'll have to keep a copy of what I write from now on, this is so annoying!

Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level then beats you with experience

Actually in the Renaissance, particularly in England they loved grey eyed girls with white skin. Redheads are beautiful in my opinion. Skinny is not healthy. Firecrotch looks great to most sane guys so don't sweat it.

I would not worry about being white, all those tanned bodies one day may wind up with skin cancer. Accept yourself for who you are, be happy and have fun.

Have a great day.

I understand how you feel firecrotch32 But, you may find that if you hang around this place for a while, you are more attractive and appreciated than you realize. People are freer with their feelings in a place like this. A place where they feel comfortable being themselves. So, stick around and keep on writing. Great nick, btw... ER

My father always told me redheads were the best. Maybe that's why my first girlfriend ever was a redhead. Your description sounds a lot like her: very pale skin and a woman with curves. Not to mention attitude. I like that. Sorry to say we were never intimate: no more than petting and kissing. Many of us here appreciate many different types of women. One of these days, if I'm lucky the right redhead will come my way.

There are plenty of us who appreciate a woman like you just the way you are. Don't change.

No, it's not. "Pale Redhead" is a beloved category and big boobs seem to be a common fetish among the male US citizens.

After reading all your blogs here, i have a few thoughts; first off-I'm 6 ft and I weigh 200 lbs. When I found out my back was broken in 2 places two years ago, all of the phsyical activities I enjoyed; working out, bicycling, rock climbing, 4wheeling...I stopped doing. So now I have a small belly. I consider myself athletic if slightly out of shape.
I happen to have a thing for redheads; always have. First girl I ever had a crush on was a fair skinned redhead w/ green eyes and a fiery temper.
Lastly, being a big man, I like my women w/ a little meat on their bones, that way
I don't need to worry about breaking them if things get intense.
Sadly we live in a society where one's beauty is defined by their outward appearance and the person they are under that is discounted. Who doesn't know at least one person who is extremely easy to look at and just when you think that they're absolutely gorgeous-they open their mouth and shatter that illusion.
