finelady is M.I.A.

Oh the price we pay for fame and

My new job commands me to work for 75-100 hrs. a week through Xmas, which basically means I sleep work and eat and thats about it .
The manager training me for my own store says its survival of the fittest..if you survive these wretched hrs. you are fit enough to get your own store and work for the company.

My 45 year old body aches. I mean I have muscles aching I didnt even know I had.

I keep reminding myself that Im doing this to provide a better life for my son. As a mother, there is nothing I wouldnt do for him. If I can just get thru the next three weeks, my hrs. will return to a normal 48 hrs a week, I will be assigned my own store to manage, and I will receive a bonus check big enough to pay for a good chunk of college for my son.

My friends in blogland, any and all hugs that could be sent my way would be greatly appreciated.

I feel like Im running a marathon, and I just gotta keep my eyes on the finish line.

Wish me luck, dear bloggers...

Hang in there fine - you can do it! Anything worth having is worth working for, and you should be commended for being such an awesome mom. Now, take your vitamins, take an Advil, drink lots of water, and get as much sleep/rest as you can so that you don't get rundown and get sick.

Hugs sweetie.

Hi Fine,

It sounds as if the prize is worth keeping your eyes on. You'll stay focused, you're a mom. Heck, at 45 you're at your prime! There isn't any reason you can't do this. Now, do what Lusty said, That's good advise for all. GOOD SUCCESS! One more 'HUG' for ya,

Take a bath when you can and soak...then relax with some wine and you'll forget all about it, until the next day! Don't forget to schedule some fun when you have some time
