What a shitty day......

Have you ever had a day where you wake up and you are exactly in the middle of a good mood and a bad mood and could go either way? Today was like that for me. I worked the rescue and did 12 calls with 8 transports that were moderately to severely sick. The last guy I picked up will probably be taken off life support in the next few days because he is probably brain dead but atleast the family can say their goodbye's to their loved one.

And then I come home and stick my foot in my mouth and hurt the one that I love the most by saying some stupid shit because I ran my mouth before engaging my brain.

Ever have one of those days?

Wish I could hit a rewind button.

Hope all is well in blogland for all of ya.

Ya know, when I was in the Navy, they used to say 'All hands on deck'...is there a difference between working and 'on deck'?

Hey as far as moods go, I'm female and redhead, what do you think? Tread lightly my friend,,,,,

You were in the Navy? What did ya do? Did you have fun? I think there is a very close relation between the two sayings as "all hands on deck may gather everyone to prepare to work and hand out assignments as a team and "all hands working" might mean all are already at work. Whatcha think?

Oh and the female / redhead thing. I absolutely adore redheads and their temperment and let me compliment you on the picture. Very, very sexy and you have an incredible smile.

YOu know, my brain has a habit of skipping over what it doesn't want me to see right off the bat, and then when I go back and reread it, I see what my brain has somewhat protected me from.

I have A; been in a life support helicopter, and it is truly a scary ride. B; Seen someone who was moments away from being pronounced brain dead, having their grey matter flowing down the street like it was yesterdays water run off.

I salute you, working in a field so many of us take for granted. It is not easy being a 1st responder. God Bless you!!!

I hope you were not injured very badly when you were on the medical helicopter. Looking at the pic you made out very well. As far as people dying, I have been a Paramedic for the past twenty years working in the cities in the Northeast. I've seen enough blood spilled to last 10 life times and God only knows how many people die. I just try to do my best everyday as a Firefighter / Paramedic and treat every patient as I would want my family treated.

The job certainly has its good and its bad points but I wouldn't want to do anything else.

Don't ever let ur hummingbird brain, overload your alligator mouth is something I learnedthe first day at my permanent duty base in Air force. I told my base commander to go get screwed before I even looked to see who it was LOL. And I was an EMT Basic for many years in a small town. That was the hardest you had to deal with ppl you knew on a personall and daily basis. I just couldn't watch my friends die anymore. as far as SO just say your sorry, she is good ppl and will forgive ya

Yeah, I know the boss feeling. I put a half a bottle of Dave's insanity sauce in his dinner. He booked off the rest of the rotation and my life sucked for a long time after that. I have picked up several friends of mine and some of them I could not even work on because there wasn't enough left. It sucks.

As far as my better half, I don't think things are looking good but I'm going to keep trying.

See ya man!

Well, atleast I know I'm not alone. I'm a Taurus. So does that mean I'm full of bull?? Sorry, bad joke. I will gladly accept the hug though, God knows I could use one right about now.
