Who Said They Can Be My Friends?

I touched on the "invitation" and "friends" issue a few days ago. From day one, I rejected every single invitation simply because I don't see the point in belonging to some stupid network when you can contact me by mail like everyone else. Well, guess what? This afternoon, after declining 84 invitations, I found myself in the "friends network" page. There, I noticed I had 3 friends. Wait a minute, 3 friends? Don't you have to accept someone's invitation before they can be your friend? First of all, I did not accept any invitation. Secondly, I looked at their profiles and there is no way in hell I will join their network let alone becoming friends. So how the hell did they show up as my friends? People, you ought to check your "friends" list occasionally. You may already have some unwanted sleazoids who want to be your friend.

I'm sure that you get plenty of invitations and decline just as you said. No doubt you can also delete the ones that did manage to show up in your network. How that happened really is anyones guess. As far as checking my friends list, I agree with you that people who know me have my email and can reach me there. Just my two cents. Hope you're having a good weekend.

=)

I've had the same thing happen to me. When the invitation page is open there is a drop-down box next to the invitation but there is another one near the top of the page. Both default to "accept". I think you have to change the box by the invitation and also the upper box. I'm sure the Bozos at AdultFriendFinder have tried to make things as difficult as possible for their members. Unless, of course, you have paid a premium services fee! In fact, if you subscribe to the NEW super-duper-gold membership then not only will they choose your friends for you, they will also arrange meetings! All for the modest price of only $149.99 per month! LMAO

Hope you're enjoying the boat races FS....
