The Case of the Mistaken Identity

How would you go about trying to prove that someone has mistaken you(on AdultFriendFinder)for someone they knew once. We all value our privacy and due to scammers we must protect that to some degree, so the amount of information divulged would have to be limited. What do you think if people who knew you and had met you were to e mail the person who is mistaken? Would you accept a 3rd party e mail for the truth?Any other ideas? Why do I care - because this person is obviously hurt, and for the wrong reasons, and I would like to alleviate her hurt by showing her she is mistaken.

Next best thing to perfect

I would just ignore it and say you are not that person. If they proceed, hit DELETE!

With all the issues of strange and slightly sick people on-line, why would you provide any information to try and change her mind?

I hate to see any one hurting but her hurt is her issue and not yours. You have already tried to correct her misconception and she isn't taking the information so stop trying so hard and let her figure it out or not. Either way you should feel you have done your part and now let it go.

Someday is today.
