cont......................Living on an Island.

** Why should I work in this hot sun, when the breadfruit is ripe......and the conch can't run?
** A stay of longer than 10 dys allows local politics to catch you
** If it's going to break or rust, it's gonna do it in Grand-Cayman, Little Cayman & Cayman Brac
** You have to really want to be here, because its not easy in Paradise
** Know when to say something and when to stay Quiet
** Be prepared to wait 3 times as long and pay 3 times as much for everything
** Best to stay off the drinking merry-go-round
** "Island Fever" or "rock-fever" is real.. If you're living here full time, it's important to go back "home" periodically for a reality check

cay2006, I don't understand your purpose for responding to this blog post. What does your statement have to do with the subject? I'm a Christian and am alittle perturbed by Christians lying.... Yes Christians like everyone else are and will still be sinners until we die, thats a given and won't change. The Cayman Islands have a large population that have deep roots in Christianity, closing the bar on New Year's Eve at 11:45pm when Sunday is the next day is perfectly ok with me....Is that what this is all about? Anyway, thanks for your post and please join the group and give us some of your more 'sensible' posts.

For someone who has a problem identifying his 'sexual preference' I find it really hard to understand your ability to comprehend Christianity, the strict rules and regulations made by our very intelligent and resourcefull decision makers....... and the ability to count backwards! ;!;
I take offence to your stupid reference to Our Christian Heritage...!

As I understand, the subject is about living in Cayman. I thought I would contribute some of my own insights. I don't have a problem with Christianity, just the general hypocrisy on this island.

Rather ironic that a Christian would take offense to a comment posted on "AdultFriendFinder.com: The World's Largest Sex and Swinger Site". I wonder what your pastor would think.

As for "the very intelligent and resourceful decision makers", it's rather early to tell isn't it? They didn't handle the Jamaican visa issue very intelligently, did they? No public consultation, no request for alternative proposals or ideas, just slam it down the people's throats.

You do a disservice to your readers in your lopsided presentation of "Paradise". It's a nice place, but it ain't paradise dear.

Reference to this site and its purpose....We all have choices..Have you made yours yet? guess not.....You're still searching...!!!!Our Pastor will Pray for your guidance and safety ...Its a Rat-race out there.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its all about the humor....Your disservice is NOT appreciating that with your lop-sided responses.

Whatever. Power to you. Enjoy your humourous blog and have fun standing around in the ocean getting pissed drunk week in week out at Rum Point.
Two last things.
1) I only mock after being mocked. Your argument against my opinion was an ad hominem.
2) "Cayman brings hypocrisy to the level of art" as said by a good Caymanian friend of mine. Cayman's "riches" were built on storing foreigner's money in the branches of foreign banks and managed by foreigners. I happen to be one of them.

I applaud your unwanted retaliation to my humorous blog on "Island Living".......Gett'n pissed drunk in the ocean @ Rum Point would certainly be a great idea to be considered (If I happened to be an alcoholic..which I'm not) rather than spending valuable time responding to your senseless ramblings...Mixing the "Mud-slides" as we speak!... ...Maybe you are wishing you were having one of those right now instead of wasting company time and the rich man's money replying to my blogs......Our "'caymanian riches'" are the wonderful warm and friendly Caymanian people who so lovingly enbrace those who choose to live amongst us....(In Peace & Harmony!)
Have a wonderful day...your input has been appreciated and duly noted!...Do enjoy this new level of hypocrisy...the Caymanian way!
