Is it in the name ?

Do we live to make our name ?
Or our name makes us?

I was just thinking about the friends I know. Somehow, I find that people with the same names also have uncanning resemblance to each other in appearances and personalities. Wonder if its only me that seems to perceive such an occurrence?

Lets perhaps do an unscientific experiment with people I haven't yet met and see if this theory hold true.

Georgina
This is the name of 2 wonderful people I have got to know recently from AdultFriendFinder. One is my dear friend georgina666 who drops by regularly and the other is someone I'm scheduled to meet sometime this week. In addition, I personally like this name as it holds fond memories and has a classy yet subtle ring to it.

My perceptions of "Georginas" based on the 3 friends that I know with the same name are :
1. Long shoulder-blade length hair.
2. Confident low pitched voice.
3. Non wafer-thin bodies. Not fat yet a womanly body (Think Catherine Zeta Jones).
4. Articulate and witty.
5. Short sighted - Wears lens to socialize but at work, may opt to wear glasses.

So Georgina666, how true does the above hold in describing you? I think item 4 is quite reflective of you though.

As for the other Georgina, I guess I can only draw a conclusion when I do get to actually meet and talk to her

ok sorry... so I am bored and a little curious and yes... I had a little to drink

i can't say i've noticed that resemblance thingy, but i can say i have had so many run ins with different women called Tracy that i now consider the name jinxed (all the Tracys I've ever known were bitches)! and the name "Anna" is starting to have similar connotations to "Tracy"!

hmm...what an honour
what you say:
1. Long shoulder-blade length hair.
2. Confident low pitched voice.
3. Non wafer-thin bodies. Not fat yet a womanly body (Think Catherine Zeta Jones).
4. Articulate and witty.
5. Short sighted - Wears lens to socialize but at work, may opt to wear glasses.

what i say
1. i cut my long hair months ago, what an agony to live through the short hair period though short cropped hair does suit my face...but my present hair length is about to reach my shoulder blades. so guess you're partially right. but one thing for sure is i have broad shoulders.

2. whether i sound confident or not, it depends. surely, when with a man, i won't want to sound too confident i definitely have no high pitched voice, so low pitched might very well describe the tone of my voice. don't think i sound sweet though...

3. i am pear shaped. catherine zeta jones looks good even with those curves, not sure if i am capable of pulling off the same stunt. but friends did comment that i will look nice in a kebaya or cheongsam due to my hips...so?

4. i am articulate when i know what i am talking about, if not i rant and mumble when i am whining. witty? guess that is for other people to judge, so thus far, from my blog postings, what can you conclude?

5. bingo. do you have sixth sense or half the female population today are all short-sighted? as for work, so far despite struggling to ogle at my computer screen, i have still maintained my contact lens regime unless necessary to put on the geek look, glasses are to be worn at home only.

lastly, georgina is indeed a lovely name...so sensual and charming. bear in mind though, the bearer of such exquisite name might not bear the same image the name projects sorry, had to burst the bubble of self praise which i blew just now. lol!

I sound like a Georgina but it's not my name! Drink, good man, why else would you be on here. I liked your post about the football season and it rings true, nice to hear it for real though. Sorry if this is several weeks late, ie my reply but I'm a bit slow on the uptake.
