How does one tell if you are too trusting, or not trusting enough? Would the world be better off if people trusted each other more? Where do you draw a line?

Bleh... I had a whole big thing on trust going on in my head, but now it seems I'm too tired to work out my thoughts into actual words and sentences that can be easily understood.

I guess, basically: how do you know when its alright to trust again? (Sorry, no specifics for now). If Person A says to Person B "Yes, it is alright to trust again", can Person A be trusted? (Sorry, no specifics on that one, either).

I guess I've got nearly two weeks to think about it.

You know I was going to have a post about this as well. Now I am not going to be much help, because I am still pondering this myself. LOL! It is difficult I think once either A) You really believed someome and they were totally dishonest. You were in a relationship that you were totally burned in. The thing is though if you are always doubting someone, wondering if they are who they say they are, you will never know. You are just building a wall, and possibly missing opportunities. So I guess it is a leap of faith, combined with risks and instincts. Also moving slow helps too, sometimes the truth will present it's self.

Maybe just some things to think about. Be Careful and Have Fun!

There's always that contrast between having fun and being careful...

Yeah, I guess it is a choice. My next question is: can anyone help or persuade that choice? Perhaps more importantly, should they influence that choice?

I think I trust to much... but I don't yet know where the line is. Hope you are having fun.

Is there a line? Is there just one dimension tothis issue? I don't mean to critique your comment, because it got me thinking... maybe this is some sort of multi-dimensional thing that is just really hard for me to grasp.

I'm struggling with trust issues myself right now.
