The rudest message I've ever received

Okay. Up till now I've gotten sleazy messages, creepy messages, one that just said "meet u", and one rude one - that is, it was from a guy whose network invite I'd declined (I decline most network invites... I get waaay too many) saying that I was too stupid to realize what a good catch he was. A riff on the old "you're a lesbian" routine.

Now I've gotten TWO rude ones. Let's see... this is what I just found in my inbox.

- Hello Sweetie,I!m a professional Black guy that loves oral both giving and receiving.I love to laugh and have a good time.Do like Black guys?Is there something wrong with us?I just want to know your feelings about Black guys.If you don!t respond back then it shows a form of prejudice on your behalf.Thank you -

Total non sequitur there... all personal-ad self-promotion and then "write me back or you're prejudiced." Dirty trick, that. I should have just ignored it, but I guess I'm in the sort of mood tonight where it's easy to push my buttons (not the good buttons that I like it when people push.) I told him off with the basics - I respond to PERSONALITY in introductory messages, things like correct spelling and humor, and that's the key thing. Yeah, a guy's gotta be cute too, but cute wasn't a color the last time I checked. Mostly he's gotta be compatible with me. I can tell from the first message if it's even close.

And yes. I dig the men of color, okay? Any color. I've run the gamut of Guys of Color in my thirteen or so years of dating people. Of course I didn't dignify his message by mentioning that... but I DID dignify it by responding... aagh...

Okay, so that was a rude message and I played right into it. Anyway. So. There's that.

Why do guys like that waste their time? Better yet, why do guys like that waste your time? Do they think that works with women that are obviously not (and pardon the generalization) bitches and/or hoes.

I've never understood it either, kinda like you said a few blogs ago, guys are either hungry, sleepy or horny. Guess he was just the latter.

But you know, women can be rather enigmatic themselves. Fine is never fine, you rarely speak the truth and for god sakes when a guy asks for a little direction (that is if he's not too full of himself to ask) in bed, help him out - don't fake it to get it over with. No point in not being satisfied when you have the opportunity to be. Not all guys are perfect, some of just are just wanting to learn how we can be...

Something tells me though, that as always, with rules come exceptions and I think you are to this, just as I am to yours.

PS ‒ thanks for bending your rules too…

Wow girl, that guy was pretty damn rude! And the more I read these blogs, the more common that seems to be. I guess it doesn't really surprise me, though....a large proportion of men are complete jerks, whether it's in 'real' life, or the net. Guess that's why I have more female friends than male. I can't stand dealing with that stupid male neanderthal ego! I can't imagine what it's like from a womans perspective...

What an ass wipe! Some men are so desperate that they'll do anything to get a response.

Human beings are pretty amazing critters. Live long enough, you see plenty of rude, clueless ones. One thing I've noticed about AdultFriendFinder, though. The environment inspires a kind of mindless, lead-with-your dick mentality that leaves personality out in the car while you stand on the object of your interest's doorstep with your pants around your ankles. Easy to get steamed when she laughs and slams the door in your face...or you expect her to. Here's hoping you get some roses in your mailbox someday.

The guy wrote back and apologized! "I didn't mean to offend you. I just wanted to see where your head was at," he said. Didn't mean to offend me? Wha?

You're all of you right... a lot of guys on here have an attitude toward sex that's offensive by nature, the "fuck me now, slut" thing, the pants-around-the-ankles-at-the-front-door thing. But what's weird is I've only gotten the two messages that were INTENTIONALLY offensive. Only two! That's not a lot! A lot of guys on here may be pervs, but at least not a lot of them are mean.

The vast majority of humans are victims of the indiscriminating anit-quality of stupidity and/or ignorance. Most don't think before they speak. Myself - I will admit that I'm ignorant when it comes to many things. Good reflection will tell a person just that. The problem is that most people don't reflect. Instead, they tend to deflect and project their ignorant selves onto others. This guy who messaged you sounds like a person that needs some self reflection. I pitty him.

By the way, nice post, Empress.
