It's Just Another Day

Hello all, hope that you all had a fine Easter or
weekend and are as happy as me to being starting another work week......yeah, right!
All's well here in Bobsville I suppose. Work is
picking up, some bills may get paid on time, and
I even had time this evening to mow my lawn when
I got in from work! No, I'm not on drugs, and not
even marginally drunk. I just noticed all these
damn manicured lawns along my street and thought,
"Shit! My jungle-rain forest-wilderness motif is
not catching on to these uninovative and robot
like neighbors."
So, instead of collecting yet another Code Violation from the city grass police I mowed. But
I DID NOT have a good time doing it and didn't
even pretend that I did! Plus, all of my empty
beer cans were purposely tossed into the surrounding yards as I drank while mowing so as
not to leave any doubt in those square minds that
I'd surrendered to a higher power.
Hmmmmmm, now that a flicker of sobriety has snuck
up on me I'm trying to recall where I'd left my
John Deere running at and if I'd set the parking
brake? It seems as if I'd jumped off of it when
I noticed my 12 pack cooler was, pardon my french
"empty", and if I recall correctly, that was about 3 hours ago, was 5 hours ago!
Funny, I don't hear the tractor running from my
Well anyway, it will turn up sooner or later and
if it was really a great lawn tractor it'd have
the yard done and then put itself away in the shed by the time I leave for work in the morning.
That, my friends, doesn't happen very often and
I've got half a mind to write to the Deere folks
and complain about their irresponsible equipment.
In the meantime, hope everybody's getting some, keeping the wick wet and the trough filled. Peace, Bob
