Thinking about thoughts

As I was returning to the hotel this morning from a typical first day of the week (i.e. 20+ hr shift); my mind began to wander like it normally tends to do while driving. Then it focused on why I tend to have my best thoughts, see things most clearly, and really be at the top of my game when I am physically drained. Somewhat like some guys have a power tie that they wear.....what are some little things that put you into a zone where you feel at your best?

I tend to get my best thoughts in the shower or while driving.

around 430-445am....sitting in my den on the brown leather chair, legs up on the ottoman......pink high top converse on.....staring directly in the eyes of that one angel fish with the imperfect fins.....from there....greatness can occur...

Welcome, fellow blogger! It just depends on what I'm about to do. For example, when I'm on my way to the gym, I usually pump myself up by listening to pretty hard music (Tool, Disturbed, etc). If I'm on my way to a first date, I'll listen to uplifting music (not going into my examples on this one). If I'm about to play pool I do my best by drinking about 3 beers to relax and also listen to music.

At the gym- in spinning class or when I'm lying on my back doing chest presses and extensions. I write and rewrite my business letters on the bike. Suspending heavy weights near my face also clarifies my thinking beautifully.

Or lying in bed. After sex is a great time, when my mind is essentially blank and wide open, but I've had many ah-hah moments just relaxing and watching the trees move outside my window.

Glad you decided to blog!
