Do we know the true meaning of Christmas?

We all celebrate Christmas in different ways but have we forgot what the true meaning of Christmas is? We go out and buy gifts for friends and family letting them know how much we care, when really we should be doing that all year long. There is alot of homeless people out there who have nothing nor anyone who cares. So what do we do?Do we give anything to the salvation army, homeless shelters, there are many things I could list but do we give from our heart to those who are less fortunate then us?Or do we get so wrapped up in our lives and forget about those who are really in need?We don't have to look far to see families that are in need of help this time of year and year around because alot of times it could be in our neighborhood, schools, church anywhere and you will find that one person where you can make the difference.Little do most people know that is where are true blessings come in. So tell me do we know the true meaning of Christmas?

We all know the meaning of christmas. But so many are caught up in giving gifts. I would love to drop gifts off at the shelters before we go to dinner.

You are right alot of us know the meaning but are alot of us acting on what it really mean.To act on something means to do it to say it means you are just speaking on it.You know the saying action speaks louder than words, so what do our actions say when we get so caught up in the materialistic theme of Christmas.A food for thought.

I think some of us have got caught up in our evryday lives and it seems that Christmas is the only time you hear aboout giving. I often wonder what happen to those same people when Christmas is over and they need our help. It seems that the Christmas spirit only operates during Christmas season. Wouldn't it be good to have the spirit all year.
