The dust is settling

What a week it has been! My door has been revolving for the past week, and my phone(s) have been ringing endlessly.

My fathers' Celebration of Life was yesterday. My favorite part was when my siblings, friends, cousins and I sat around and discussed "Bill Trivia" I was amazed I remembered a lot of it.

My siblings are not my fathers children, but from my mothers first marriage. It was great that they could all be there for me.

I even forgave my mother for her insensitive remarks. (thanks talldarkavg1). She visited with me today one-on-one and offered to stay with me through the week since all my children have ventured off for last minutes vacation before school starts. I told her thanks for the offer, but I really needed time alone to face emotions that I have not allowed to come out since his death.

Two of my children went to California with my best friend, and my other child went to my sisters for the week. I am going on a business trip on Friday and I needed someone to take care of my little girls since my son had already planned on going to California.

Today I slept most of the day and now I am wrapped up in my robe after getting out of the shower. I have been invited to go to a barbeque, I suppose I should get ready.

Thank you to all of my blogging friends who have been here for me this week and helped comfort me with your words.
