The Decision

In my blog, I Want More . . ., I wrote about possibly breaking it off with the married man I have been seeing for the past six months. After two nights of conversation with him about it I have finally come to a conclusion as to what I am going to do.

In the past six months I have had a lot of things bring me down. My fathers death, my failing relationship with my son, and the extra stress at work because of the two before mentioned, to mention a few.

I have spent the last two days in tears because I was already missing him and I had not even come to a conclusion as to what I wanted to do.

In the past six months the one thing that remains to be nearly stressless, and that makes me very happy is him. If I eliminate what makes me happy, what am I going to do?

So for totally and complete selfish reasons, I am going to continue to see him. He and I both know that eventually it will come to an end, but I do need him right now. I know he is happy about the decision and I certainly have not been stressed thinking that he would no longer be in my life.

before i get all sappy, i must admit some excitement when i read that you like to be bitten in one of my favorite places to bite (yummy)
.
i struggle with you (a little bit). because i can't give her up either. the notion of a single day without that amazing feeling-is totally unbearable and i would pay any price for the happiness that she is.
.
(also-and forgive me if i'm out of line-as someone who's on the other end of the mother/son thing, she's still my mom and i will always love her, no matter what.)

Well, there ya go.... no need to eliminate the one thing going on that brings you comfort and happiness....even though it is what it is. I think had you decided to break it off...you would have been very unhappy at a time when you just don't need one more upsetting thing. I'm glad for ya.... and I'm relieved at the same time, cuz I know that had to have been a rough 2 days.

~~~ Just me, poppin to say HI! ~~
ticktock500 ooohhhh you like to bite, I like to be bitten. Coincidence?
I am not sure I fully understand the meaning in your second paragraph, well, I do but it is a bit cryptic.
As far as my son, he tells me the very same thing. "You are my mom and I love you no matter what." *sniff* I cry more tears over that boy... *sigh*
slidein2meplz it was a very rough two days.
Although, I tried not to let my children see my stress over this, my oldest daughter, 12, did. I talked to her a little about it. (She does not know he is married.) Both my daughters do what they can to keep me from going to see him. They just don't like the idea that I am dating. Up until this year, I didn't date, by choice, so it's culture shock to them. My oldest daughters first reaction was to give me hell about letting my feelings become involved, but she softened and just hugged me. My little girl is growing up!
BigGirlzRSweet I am too. So much stress to decide to stop doing what makes me happy. Sometimes I wonder about me! LOL
