Something Caught My Eye

Today I logged on to the internet and saw the caption on Y!, "Video: Baby girl found floating in lake"

Of course being the loving mother I am, I wanted to see what that was all about. Seems that this couple heard what they thought sounded like a cat crying and noticed a plastic bag floating in the river. They fished it out and inside was a baby girl dressed in pink. There was a wooden board in the bag to help keep it afloat. The baby was wet, but alive and they are now in search of her parents.

Another story found on c and n and n.

"Police: Mom smothers 3 children in bed"

Three children, a set of twins boys, 6, and their 8 year old sister were found on a queen sized bed in an Arkansas home. Their mother called their father who is working in NY confessing to him she killed them. The father called the police after his phone conversation with their mother.

Apparantly the mother ingested a toxic substance and collapsed when the police arrived. She was under watched guard until she was well enough to be taken in for homicide.

What on earth would ever possess anyone to do that to a helpless baby? I am sickened by it. Yet, I am grateful for the people who found that sweet child.

As much as I hate to read what happens to children, I always do when I come across articles such as this. I love my children, they are my world and I will never understand how anyone could hurt a child.

Remember the Susan Smith story back in the early 90's? Susan Smith buckled her two precious boys in their car seats and pushed the car in to the lake and watched them drown? Then the bitch lied saying her kids were kidnapped. Her story was so full of holes that they eventually arrested her for murdering her baby boys. Why did she do it? Because her boyfriend rejected her.

I mourned over the death of these babies. I still do. I am now mourning for the deaths of these three precious babies who were smothered by their demented mother.

Inspirational Thought:

We don't inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.

Dusty, I lived in SC when Susan Smith did that. I was one of several thousand people state wide that walked the woods in search parties looking for those kids. I will never forget when they came and told us we could stop looking, they had found them, dead at their mothers hand. I have been to the lake where they died, a quiet peacful place, quite beautiful really. I stood on the boat ramp where she rolled that car down into the water, yards away from a plaque with pictures of thos two boys on it, and imagined the screams of those two boys as it went under and out of sight. The whole state, nation and world stood in awed silence before the screams of rage resounded around the world. That was unbelievable then and this is unbelievable now. Their has to be special place in Hell for those who would do this to a child.

There is no sense or reason to such things... you encouraged me to give each of my kids a hug before I turn in tonight.

even though it is tragic within the confines of a small slice of time even the lives the children lived had value that contributed to the overall growth of deeper and indestructable entity that is their true source.

This is true of even miscaried fetuses and such. And in a way that's not easy to describe those lives and those ends were "chosen" by the individuals who lived them for purposes that are not possible to comprehend if only viewed in the context of the physical duration of that life.

Indeed all lives lived provide "growth value" to the nonphysical source entity. And in a way all of us take our own turns experiencing all of these types of "tragic" deaths (and lives).

So in an odd way it's truly "all good". But also oftentimes quite a challenge to see it that way when focusing only on the apparently "tragic" aspects of it.

One way to think of this is that you will be terminally stuck returning to physicality until you have taken on all roles there are to play in this theater. Even the unsavory ones. And there's nothing wrong with being stuck returning to physicality. When it no longer provide valuable growth some sort of "graduation" is made.

But don't ask me where you after that. But I'll say one thing. Where you go next is not the end of the line by a long shot. In fact there is no end of the line. The concept of "everlasting life" is a rock solid principle in all this. Despite all appearances of physical death.

I should really shut up about all this garbage shouldn't I!

How awful that must have been for you. I know how heart wrenching it is for me, I can only imagine how you must have felt as you searched and searched for those babies. How heartbreaking that the mother knew where those babies were and lied to the world. I just don't fucking understand it.

Give your children a hug every night. I am away from mine tonight, and I miss them. I gave them a huge hug before I left. I can't wait to see them tomorrow.

It's good to try and reach for the positive aspects of such an awful event, KC_JJ. Yes, those little children did make an impression upon someone, it's just too bad that their selfish mother took their lives.

I would hope so. I hate to think what those kids were thinking as they watched their siblings be smothered by their mother. Poor things.

It makes me terribly sad that these things happen now a days. I want a child of my own very badly (and tick tock tick tock tick tock goes the biological clock)... and here are people hurting their own precious children. It makes no sense. I can't wrap my mind around it. I don't want to either. Hugs.
I feel for those who want children of their own, then look at others who do have them and abuse them. Makes not one bit of sense to me.

That's amazing that people would want to get to know a low life bitch that has no regard for the lives of her beautiful children. God rest their little souls.

People are cruel.... That sums it up for me! I know that WE all have problems, but I can't show any remorse for an adult that takes the life of children, & yes, even thier own... I am not a judge, but when it's time for judgment, I wouldn't want to be there....

I try not to judge, but as a mother I just can't understand why anyone would EVER EVER EVER hurt any child, let alone their own! I don't even care to TRY to comprehend what goes on through someones mind.

I don't understand it either. There are some sick people in this world. And it does seem that some are possessed by demons.
