Sleepless in Safford

For the past couple of weeks, I have not been able to sleep. I really really hate that. I mean I'll get a few hours of sleep in, but then I am up, the damned dogs barking. I have no idea what she is barking at, but I am about to buy a muzzle for Arm Pit. Damned dog.

I used to sleep through her barking, but now, it wakes me up and keeps me up. She has been quiet for an hour and here I sit awake and no one to molest.

Maybe it's because I have limited myself on my blogging and I have a need that needs fulfilled.

ARGGH! I just want to sleep!

Just wait until you see your sleep patterns in about ten years from now. (You don't want to know...)

Yeah, I'm still [blog 1hotwahine]

I have one dog that wakes up about 6 am every morning, even when I try to keep her awake all day thinking she might sleep in. My other dog stays in bed for a couple hours after I get up. He even gets annoyed at her waking up so early.

Have tongue, will use it. Repeatedly.

Been there, done that. It gets lonely at night with no-one to talk to but yourself. Now, if the dog could at least talk, you could ask it what's all the noise about.

Been there, too. After a few nights of staying awake, eventually I get to where I can sleep through anything. Like work.

If this has been going on for a while and you're still not getting enough sleep, maybe you should see a doctor. Just a suggestion.

1hotwahine, I think I need to lay off the energy drinks. They are giving me energy at the wrong times. Perhaps, I should drink one right before I go to bed.

CantonOhCouple, the dog does talk, and yaps and yelps and barks and drives me insane. The little bitch!

I lived 22 years in Lancaster, OH. I have been to Canton once.

mzhunyhole, well, damnit! I guess that means I need to face the fact that I am getting older.

PillsburyCodeBoy, I have decided that I am going to see a doctor on Monday anyway, I have a few other concerns that need addressed.

Want me to tell you a bed-time story?

toothysmile, sure, but I'd really like it if you and I made our own bedtime story!
