Good Morning

Well, I missed karaoke last night and I am not sure if I should be upset about that. I did get a great nights rest so I guess that makes up for my lack of sleep.

My oldest daughter came home from school yesterday and went straight to sleep. Oh, how I wish I could do that. She woke up at 5:30 am after 13 hours of sleep. She wrapped her arms around me and said, "Good Morning!" The smile on her face was so big and content. Soon she was walking around singing, "I feel good!"

My baby went to sleep last night by 9:00 and is very well rested today as well.

OH, what a good nights rest does for a family.

It's going to be a great day!

pchamp, I used to get only two hours of sleep a night, I was so busy. My scheduled freed up, some by choice, some not by choice. I found out, I enjoy sleep.

I usually only sleep 5 hours a night, been doing that since I was in the army starting in 1969. The only time I sleep longer is if I am not feeling good. Last night I stayed up until 5am watching a couple of movies and then was up at 9:00am. I always have so many things to do and as long as it does not affect my health I plan to keep on this way until I reach room temperature.

My father was that way till the day he died. He was in the service for 20 years. He served in the Navy for 20 years and 10 years in the reserves. He was always up by 3:00. As the weeks neared his death, he slept a big longer.
