Always Be Safe

sexyfitwoman posts some blogs that seem to hit home with me. She directed her readers to the following blogs.

Beware of the risks.... Part 1

Beware of the risks... Part 2

Maybe I’ll share my story(s) one day. But these two blogs are definitely eye openers. Please take time to read them.

I think what she says at the end is a message that anybody, not just women should listen to. "In closing, I just want to stress the importance of meeting in public, of letting someone know where you are going that night and who you are meeting and to never ever 2nd guess your gut instinct!!! Please everyone be safe!!!"
There is one thing that I hate most is a pervert. Someone who does what he did to her should not live.

Always be safe. She makes some very valid points. I have never been violated from anyone on the net. No, I take that back. One man. That's maybe another blog. But it's men I have met other places then the net...

    Thanks for the bump over to the other blog. I totally agree that we need to guard our privacy. Some things to remember... don't give someone your last name if you've given them your first name. Use a fake name and address when signing up for IM on Y-H, as THAT site is HORRIBLE for safeguarding your information. I also give my cell number, though even THAT can be searched doing a reverse search on the Web. Someone would have to pay for that information, but if they wanted it bad enough, they could get it.

    And as SexySquirterGirl pointed out, TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. We all know when someone gives us the creeps. And even if we are wrong, it's better to lose one good guy than to end up being hurt by someone because we didn't trust ourselves.

    Thanks, Dusty!
Thanks for the pointeres BigGirlzRSweet. You can never be too safe. Ever.

I had read these once before...and I am fortunate that I've never had negative experiences. I've been stupid a few times...and careless in just allowing someone to come over without meeting in public first...but I was fortunate...and it was fine.

However, I've since changed my mindset on that and will not meet anyone first unless it is in public and only after having had a certain amount of time with communication in one form or another and unless it is clearly understood that absolutely NOTHING is going to take place that first time or maybe even the second or third time.

I absolutely will not meet anyone who hasn't provided me with a pic and/or an appearance on web cam. And ..especially not naked on cam. Not goin there... don't do the cyber stuff.

Gut feelings are normally pretty good...but sometimes people can be fooled. I may do a post on that....I was fooled big time by a man.

~~~ Just me, poppin to say HI! ~~
    Thanks for the link dusty.
    I think being has got to be one of the most demoralizing, scary things, but being when your children are in the next room and you also fear their safety.
    And what you go through in recovery because the depth of how it destroys your security in life, well, lots end up with other relationship problems because their family and loved ones lose patience with the recovery process and that makes it worse.
It's really sad that someone would violate another like that. It makes me sick.
I have been fortunate when meeting people from AdultFriendFinder. Not one has been disrespectful. Just goes to prove that those I have chosen to meet are exceptional people. But, I do follow my sixth sense when meeting people.
Years ago, the first two men I met from online came straight to my house. I'll blog about that one day.
I have rules now, and I do follow them. Always play safe.
Great link
In case guys think they are immune, a friend told me the story of a customer he had. They were out late drinking and a woman had begun to give this guy a lot of attention. they were in suits and ties. She looked very sophisticated and well put together. My friend headed back to his hotel; his customer went for a 'last drink' at another bar.
His last drink was tainted with some drug and he was found outside the bar, robbed and beat-up (not too bad but still ....)
That's just crazy. It can happen to men as well. So everyone needs to be aware.
