3:30 in the Morning, and I Just Can't Sleep

Nothing has worked,

Medicine to make me breathe, but make me sleepy, nope.

Masturbation, nope.

Chatting, nope.

Reading blogs, nope.

I'll try masturbating again... better work this time. this is my last chance at sleep... I'll get three full hours.

you know, I've always thought that if they put daytime TV on in the middle of the night, NOBODY would have this problem.

titsandtires I don't watch TV, so it does not matter what time it's aired.

That sounds like a carbon copy of my last night.

I bought a bottle of generic nyquil last night and gave a whopping buzz of what I'll call the the "twired" kind.

The DXM in it is definitely a downer at low doses (sedative/hypnotic) but the psuedoephedrine in it is a major stimulant and is the active "uppity" in ingredient in Mormon Tea and is a mere two hydrogen atoms shy of being straight d~methamphetamine. (speed, crank, meth, etc)

So yes you can get wired on Nyquil. I slept for about 1/2 hour last night but then sawed logs nearly all day long.

I'm coming up on two weeks of being sick and am showing symptoms of stomach flu now.

I guess my 8 year break from the sickness world must all be caught up on in one fell swoop here. (or is that swell foop?)

Get well soon Diva and I'll try to too,

KC_JJ

PS. In high doses DXM (dextromethorphan) is a hallucinogen/dissociative so watch your dosage with it or you might just step out of your body.

PS. definition - twired , adjective - the annoying quality of being simultaneously tired and wired.

oldman1776 I was going to get some bourbon to make a hot tottie yesterday. Last year I had lost my voice and had a cough. Those were my only symptoms. I'd do it again if I had a choice. So I bought the ingredients to make hot totties. Bourbon, honey, lemon and water. I would faithfully make my tea elixer and sip on it, and my cough would ease. I really didn't like the taste of it, so I just started taking shot of the bourbon straight out of the bottle. That worked better than anything else. My sons friends would come over and early in the morning see me tip that bottle and they would ask, "Hitting the bottle a little early, don'tca think?" haha

KJ_CC took two nyquil last night and it took me over two hours to feel the effects of that. I went to sleep around 10:00 last night and woke up for good about 9:30 this morning. I feel better, but I still can't breathe out of my one nostril. The cough is there, but my head no long feels like 'sploding. I'll take it easy again today, by drinking a lot of water and maybe another dose or two of nyquil.

Dusty - I specialize in helping female patients. I used to take male and female patients when I first started my practice, but over the years, my practice has grown so rapidly, I decided to limit my new patient acceptance to females only. If you require a list of patients who have agreed to endorce me, please let me know.
