Always make sure your have good rubber

Got ya - not that kind - although you should have good rubbers - ya - that is very important but I am talking about tires.

Just bought new shoes for my baby - Yokohama AS430's - nice - very nice.

I have a Civic SI - it's a little baby fast car - I wanted the STI but can't afford the T - so I only have the SI - but it's a real fun little car.
Well - the stock tires never did it justice - so - the other night I was driving down the road and found myself driving into NTAB - been thinking about it but just couldn't bring myself to spend money on something I really didn't absolutely have to have - but then again - I am a very "spirited" driver and my tires just could not keep up - so - there I am - and as luck would have it - one of the guys in the store understood what I was talking about when I said I needed "high" performance tires - and - long story short - baby has new shoes - and boy - is she happy - now we have even more fun.

Zoom - zoom - (can I say that if I am driving a Honda ?)

I know exactly what you mean. I bought 100,000 mile rated tires for my car once because, well, I drive a lot. They were those 'low energy' tires. You know, harder rubber, higher PSI, no freaking traction whatosever! Ugh. And noisy as hell too. When they finally wore low I was ever so happy to replace them with something that was a good cross between long lasting and gripping. It costs a bit more, but traction is very much worth it.

these suckers are all about the traction - gotta love traction
