Why must we always be in a rush?

It always seems that everyone is in a rush. Weather it is to get some thing done or we late getting some where. Why is it that we can't take are time to do something if it takes a little longer so what. This last week I was late to work because of traffic twice and my boss was fine with it the first time I was late by 3 min. and the second was by 8 min. The guy I work with all ways gets mad when I am late. It is not like he has to stay there and wait he can leave me a note and let me know what to do. He also complains when I come in to work on time but don't get to my work station tell a few after my shift starts. I now some of the day have just been a bad day for him and he is just worked upped.

Human Nature i guess everything needs to be done yesterday, everybody is runnung about nowadays, no-one really stops to smell the coffey anymore, nor do they take the time to relax. aveything must be done in haste, haste more haste. its sad really.

A good song for this would be from Dave Matthews band - Ants marching.

Driving along this highway

All these cars and upon the sidewalk

People in every direction

No words exchanged,

No time to exchange when...

All the little ants are marching

Red and black antennae waving

They all do it the same

They all do it the same way, yeah

I could but it wouldn't do anything they run us. On a normal shift of 10 hours and sometimes 12 hours when we get backed up.

seems u work in a non-stop station or something like that....maybe u can arrange ur schedule and show up 5 minutes before ur shift begins....thats also gives u a cushion for traffic jams......
