Slide It In...

... Or Slow and Easy?

I was listening to a Whitesnake greatest hits today, and realized that these are my two favorite tunes by the band. Of course, they both drip with the typical heavy metal sexual innuendo. But they both speak to very different styles. Slow and Easy speaks for itself. Slide It In is much more of a "shut up and fuck me" tune.

So, which style are you looking forward to this weekend:

Slide it In

Slow and Easy?

(Or, will you be like me; Crying in the Rain, thinking about your lack of deed doin?

Ah, Its you again, Your Angel Feathers and your Blood Stains...

Neither style this weekend.

I'll be wanting Slow and Easy but singing Still of the Night.

i just wanna get close to you and taste your love so sweet, and i just wanna make love to you, feel your body heat

I am blinded by your smile
And I'm crazy about your walk
I shiver and I shake
When I hear your baby talk
I'm a fool for your loving babe,
Give me all your loving tonight...

Kaliedascope: Cherry Pie was Warrant; Once Bitten, Twice Shy was Great White and When the Children Cry was White Lion.

Now that I cleared that up, I want to tell you, Doc, that for me it will be much more like: Here I Go Again!

docdirk replies on 4/15/2006 4:31 pm:
What's the matter, SRB? Goin down the only road you've ever known again?

Uhmmm, no Crying in the Rain for me. At this point I'd take either. I don't do the heavy metal stuff, I'm Covered in Rain, John Mayer. I dunno from reading other people's blogs perhaps Puddle of Mudd's Dirty Cage would fit you better, lol. Mac

docdirk replies on 4/15/2006 11:02 pm:
That depends - is there room in that cage for the both of us?

(OK, that was cheap and cheezy, sorry! )

Depends upon a lady's mood. Sometimes..a lady wants it "slow and easy" Sometimes..she wants to "slide it in" But there are also the times when a good cry is what she needs..a warm embrace and a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. Special is the man..who can fathom her moods and respond accordingly.

docdirk replies on 4/16/2006 4:45 pm:
You mean, women have moods???

But alas, you are, as always, quite correct. Sometimes I can be satiated with a simple, well-timed, well-meaning hug. More often than I care to admit.

We're sooooo showing our age with this post of yours, my dear. I don't know that it should be allowed.

I can relate to Love Bites because more and more each day I'm beginning to think ... I Don't Believe In Love.

docdirk replies on 4/19/2006 5:27 pm:
Age? Nah, I just listen to a lot of classic rock stations. They play all kinds of songs that were released well before I was born. I must say, I know Whitesnake from reputation only, as I am far, far too young to have ever seen them live! Why are you laughing at me?

Oh yeah... LOVE the new pic even if I'm a standard member and never see anything bigger than a thumbnail. I'm glad you got rid of the hat.
