Quiet Night At Home II

A few days ago, I posted the opening of a long story that I had written a while ago. A few of you were kind enough to suggest I post more. Then, I went and did something odd this past weekend - I had a social life! So, my poor little story got lost.

Unfortunately, when I say this story is long, I mean it's LONG! (I know I'm usually lying when I use that line, but not this time!) If I were to post the similar length post with each installment of the story, it would take about a month of posts to complete.

Now, there is a place in cyber land where, if interested, one could go to read the entire thing. Of course, as you know, you can't get to anywhere from here without being intercepted by the thought police.

Unless you try something clever. Which I'll attempt to do here. If this doesn't work, perhaps I can provide a better link in individual responses to this post. Here goes next-to-nothing:

OK, I know there's no way in hell this is going to work. Forward slashes need to stay, all spaces need to go... and oh yeah, I suck at stealth missions!!! TheMan owns me!

Ah, Its you again, Your Angel Feathers and your Blood Stains...

I'll have to head on over and see for myself. It's too bad they don't have a function where you can upload story files like we upload picture and video.

Yeah, they sure make it hard for people to have cyber lives outside of this freakin place! "Everytime I think I've escaped, they pull me back in!"

Congratulations on acquiring a social life! Just don't forget us little people on your way up, okay?

docdirk replies on 4/26/2006 5:52 pm:
I didn't acquire a social life.. I simply rented one. You seen the prices on those things????

Had we know all these details on Saturday...we would have sent you straight to your room and had you work on your story.

Luckily, that Cracker Jack box we were talking about, had a decoder ring, as the prize.

Off to the secret place ... -Thanks.

Doc...This decoder ring sucks! I can't access the information!

Wait just one moment! I was gone and you had a social life on the weekend???? Who was covering the clinic??? Did you sign out and get your shift covered? OH, the headaches of having to keep up with the staff (hand over her eyes) *sighs*

Hummm... Way to go, I knew that Blockbuster Rewards Card would pay off someday. Oh, decoder ring, Ovaltine suxs!

docdirk replies on 4/27/2006 5:08 pm:
Pardon me, but that's Blockbuster AND Pizza Hut!!!

Sorry about leaving the clinic unattended. I'm fairly certain that I locked the doors behind me. I sprinkled some sprouts and water on the floor and pumped the mood music as loud as it would go. I hope all was copacetic upon your return!

E-mail on it's way!

I got the link before they edited it... ...and was able to read it all.

Writers that are so expressive in their descriptions of characters, reveal their true personalities.

Thank you for the insightful look.

Hmmm... don't know if that is good or bad....
