Everyone is working for a living....

Wow, do people work a lot in DFW, or what?

When I got on this site last month, one of the main reasons was that I just felt I spent too much time at work and getting "ahead" and not enought time enjoying life and meeting people to enjoy life with.

I'm not the only one in that boat it seems!

Everyone is working. More than a few people have 2 or more jobs, and weekends are not just for fun anymore. Somehow this makes me sad rather than happy that I'm not the only one. I think I had the notion that I was more rare in how much I work...50-60 hours a week on average, sometimes more, but I'm not so sure now.

It certainly gets in the way of having sex! Trying to coordinate when I'm off to when someone else is off....I don't want to open my Microsoft Office Outlook to "schedule" a meeting...that sucks!

I guess it is always a fine balance between working and making a living and providing time for fun....I'm determined to not let work rule my life regardless of how much time I spend doing it.

It takes everyone to make the world go round. I've dated people who worked night shift, I work days - - that didn't work well at all. I've dated people that worked retail, I'm off on weekends (when not traveling)... I just have to hope I will find someone who "fits". In every sense of the word...LOL

And we will find a way - - if it's meant to be You do owe me a movie!! {=}
