OKAY... According to this site there are, in my state of Oklahoma, 64,735 men looking for women. There are but 6,223 women looking for men.
That gives us a men/women ratio of (drumroll, please) 10.4 men for every woman. Great for the ladies, not so hot for us fellows. Now that's not accounting for narrowing searches down to specific age groups, etc. Those factors don't help since women tend to be a bit more picky than men. That's not just my opinion, either. I've looked at many profiles of both men and women for this little experiment and found that the women in the desired age groups men are looking for desire men in narrower age groups.
Simply put: Men are up for just about anything. Women who claim to be up for anything are still looking for Mr. Perfect, which, of course, is a fallacy.
So, after all that, I don't know who has it worse: us guys for having such little chance, or the women who, no matter how many men they have to choose from, will be disapointed because Prince Charming is nowhere to be found.
I'd like to hear some comments from others on this.
