What ever happened to common courtesy??

I would like to get a feeling on this. What ever happened to a common courtesy from people? I do take the time to read profiles and when it says No single men etc I dont email or ask for a network invite. But when you find a profile that is looking for one whether it is email/chat or meets, how hard is it to reply with an easy "No thank you" when you are not intersted? I know that there are those out there getting hundreds of emails but it would be nice to hear back from those. If you dont want all those emails then maybe think about changing your profile and letting others know EXACTLY what you are looking for? It will narrow the people that reply. Or you can change your email settings so you will not receive emails from those not matching your settings. I am not asking for a lot here just a polite no thanks or somewhere along those lines. What do you think????

Agreeing with Ganja...
oftentimes profiles request a face pic along with
communication ....and more times than not, people do not
read before they write.

Keeping in touch...

Just a little food for thought.............
If you really want to be happy, nobody can stop you...

I agree with the face pic but due to my job and being very well known in my community I dont send out my face pic until after the first couple emails when I feel comfortable enough do to so. Thanks for replying to my blog and hope you do so again sometime

WAIT A MINUTE....i DID send no thank yous...in the beginning. and THEY WROTE ME BACK. SEEMS NO REPLY WORKS BETTER THAN A NICE REPLY...THEY GET THE HINT WITH NO REPLY. and plain common courtesy on the mans part dictates (maybe a poor choice of words) that he mentions HIMSELF...not just his parts.....i actually opened a mail that read...."i can drive a nail thru a 2 x 4 with my cock" and that was it.....not even a hello....common courtesy to at least say "hi..I can drive a nail....."LMAO. it works both ways my dear.....

Thanks puremagic for your insight. I guess I should have clarified my statement. I write to people, I dont tell them what I can do with my cock or that I can lick my eyebrows etc. I write a tasteful email stating intentions of wanting to get to know the other person (People) better. Ask them to view my profile and let me know if they think we might be compatible. I can see why one wouldnt reply to those who state driving a nail etc. But when you get an honest and tasteful email with all the stipulations they put in there a simple no thanks works wonders.

It seems common courtesy has gone out the window. Just like saying please and thank you have from the society today. If people have no respect for those who took the time to write them a nice email then they really should put in their profiles they arent accepting emails from anyone unless "they" contact them first. Then again who in this stupid site takes the time to read a profile anyway! Many only care to look at pics and be amused. I recently changed my profile to have more info in my blogs then in my profile. I figure if they CAN read and they want to KNOW me they will find it out in my blogs.

Common courtesy was some 30 years ago...today people only care about stepping on others on their way up the ladder. Sincerity has been lost in the shuffle and kindness has been thrown out the door. Its really sad that so many have no idea what old fashioned values are anymore.

Best of luck in your search...

I understand about being busy but that is why they invented the quick reply. One click and a reply is sent even if it is a no thank you. Just a thought.
