Mental Wanderings on the Road

So here I am, 2 weeks on the road and about to make one more hop. Then back to Denver for just a few days. I made my profile inactive yesterday...was getting so much mail, and right now I don't have time to read a lot of it or answer most of it. Most of it very nice. Lots of guys wanting to meet. Obviously that can't happen right now and I thought it was pretty evident in the profile, but maybe not. Even had a couple complainers cuz I didn't write back or only wrote but was too busy to schedule a get-together. Sorry, guys.
For one - I don't just make plans to meet a guy after one "come hither" or "I really want to go to bed with you" note. I may post pics on the site and show off a bit (OK, tease a bit too) but that does nto mean I'm going to run out the door and hook up with every guy who writes me, no matter how cool he sounds. The more impatient and insistent on getting together, the less likely that will ever happen or I'll ever return your mail.
I am wandering, huh? Comes from being tired. For the life of me I'm not sure why, but got some notes saying some of you (guess ya know who you are) like reading my blog. You must be really bored! lol, but thank you.
The brief response to those of you who wrote and asked what the heck I'm doing on the road so much...ok maybe not so brief - no, it's not totally work related. I don't work often, but when I do it's more fun than hard work. I am pretty well off - from investments and savings and sadly a settlement from an unfortunate occurrence. I travel alone sometimes, and sometimes with friend Kate, my dear wonderful galpal who has kept me sane many of these past few years, and with Paul, my bud and confidante and sometimes my photographer.
Anyway- right now we're kind of doing a visiting friends tour - but there is some method to the madness. Paul is researching for a book he's writing, and interviewing a few people he's only met by phone. Now the time has come to visit in person - see if they are who they claim. All I'll say is it is a book on the paranormal, involving some past-life regression stuff, some psychic manifestations, and reports on messages from the other side, aka spirit world. If you're closed-minded you won't like the book when it's done (no, don't know when). I've been into the subject for awhile now and so I agreed to tag along on the trip and help document, as well as provide a ground and tug on his shirttail sometimes. Kate does some photography and also does documentation and writing, and she's the accountant of our little trio.
So that's what I do on the road, for the several inquisitors.
I had planned on being back in Denver for most of June, but it's looking like another quick trip to Vegas is upcoming (still considering a move) and there's also a little old house in Oklahoma with some possible manifestation I want to join Paul in checking out later in the month, which has some interest to us.
OK - enough, this truly has become a "mental wandering." But wanted to throw some thoughts down, let those of you readers truly interested in my travels know where I am and what's going on, and...and...see how I wander?
If you're truly reading this cuz you're interested and like to keep track, thank you. Kate said just mention why we're on the road and go on - if they think we're nuts for what we're doing they don't have to read your blog. Y'know Kate, you are right. So that's what I/we are doing all this time on the road.
And now, time for bed. The packing is mostly done and tomorrow is another town. I really need to pull up the Denver papers online before I snooze - what's this the TV said about tornadoes in Denver?
Thanks as usual for reading.

You're not nuts for doing what you're doing. There is a lot of validity to it, so keep going and enjoy.

I think what you are doing is what the rest of us wish we could do but aren't as fortunate! Keep having fun and enjoy your life, it's what we are all here for!! I enjoy reading your blogs and seeing what you are going to say next. Best wishes and stay safe!
