2nd chances

I got an interesting offer from a former employer yesterday and because of that I've started to re-think my situation, and the direction everything seems to be going lately. It almost feels like a 2nd chance to do things the right way, the way I want my life to be. My plan has always included being successful, but up until this point it's been more like a dream than an actual plan. I wanted go to school and get a good job doing something I enjoy and make gobs of money doing it. Seems simple enough, but then I sort of gave up on getting the degree and focused more on becoming certified, and that hasn't exactly panned out yet either. Which leaves me at the point where I am now. I could go back to my old job working nights, and still stay home with my kids during the day and study for the certification in my free time. It's what I've done 6.5 years out of the last 8, and I'm only looking at working nights for at most another 2 years...that should be enough time to get both the certification and finish my associates degree, and at that time I can transition into the position that I've been doing all this studying for. And as an added bonus I can stay within the company. So do y'all think that this sounds like a logical thing to do?

what you have to do is stick with something long enough for it to bear its fruits and give you abundance, and sometimes it is tedious to look at things that way ... 2 cents: take it or leave it, or give it to someone else and make their day...
