Disjointed thoughts of an invisible man...

In the beginning, after our first swing experience, it was like my eyes were opened to a world that surrounded me but I could never see.

We sat in The Elephant Castle on Rideau and all around us we saw ordinary people who were capable of extraordinary things.

Who among those who past in and out of our view, we wondered, kept a secret similar to ours? Who had participated in group sex? Who wanted to swap? To DP? To watch? To Play? Who would be next between our sheets?!

We felt liberated, energized, and hungry for more.

But now I find myself wondering about the ratio of those who “talk the talk” and those who “walk the walk.” At first glance AdultFriendFinder seems to be ripe with potential players ‒ after all there are 673 members in the AdultFriendFinder Ottawa group (Capital Sex) alone. But if hooking up was as easy as we are, then couples would not have problems with people not showing up to organized gang bangs, our email account would be full of sexy invitations, and we (all AdultFriendFinder members) would be too happily busy to post Sisyphean diatribes like this one.

Why do people have to wrap something as pure as sex in something as ugly as pretension? Why can’t sex just be fun? Why can’t sex be as easy as “Hey I’m kinda horny ‒ will someone scratch my itch?” Masturbation can be a real waste, don’t ya think? Especially in the shadow of AdultFriendFinder!

P.S… L, I beat you to the blog!

A lot of people enamored with the fantasy of meeting. Few with the desire and balls to do it. Sex has always been 90 percent fantasy. That is nowhere more evident than through this medium.

I agree, 90 % fantasy but old patterns still rule and old patterns say sex is a nono so talk is still the rule.
