rainy days over?

This morning it seems as though the rain ( that has been with us for the past few days) has pasted us. I don't know about you.. but after a long stretch of nice sunny days..I really like a rainy day or two. I don't even seem to mind those days when I have outside plans. I've always viewed those days as a free pass to have a "down" day. I think that on nice sunny days.. the body does too much. People tend not to rest..but be on the go go go ... and that is not a bad thing. But every once in a while the body needs a day to rest. I think that rainy days do that for us. What do you like to do on rainy days? Me? I like to be able to watch any actual storms that come along..but if it is just rain.. well then I catch up on my reading ( and umm...let's call it ..) napping. Do some of those little time consuming tasks I may have been putting off for the call of the outside.. When you have someone that you can just cuddle with... well that's nice too.
Well... since it appears to be a nice day today I guess I have no excuse... I'll get up off my butt and go out and grab the day!!!

Yep... every once in awhile a storm is good; washes away the delusions we get lulled into thinking that everything is sunny and bright. It would be nice if everything really was always sunny and bright, but we know that it really can't always be that way.

I like watching the rain, too.

But then, we tend to not get that much here, ever (although last winter was particularly wet, part of why this summer has been hotter than the last three or four....)

Hello! One of my favorite words is Illuminate. I read this post and can suggest a great book to read...The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield. This book is very Illuminating and can set a path to introspection and personal evolution. If you found my Blog interesting continue to look in from time to time. I will be writing on topics as they present themselves. Have a fantastic day today (since it will be raining curl up with that good book...LO
