The wine (wind) down

Im thankful that the day is finally over and now my thoughts are turning towards sleep...I think I hear my bed callin my name somewhere in the distance.

It's been a long day, as usual filled with problems - of which made the day go quicker, so Im thankful. Still no sign of my stranger except for a run in last week. In our last conversation we had this debate about him being single and me not believing him. Typical woman right lol. Turns out he in fact isnt single and during our drive by I told him as much. Obviously he was a little stunned that I knew but it shouldnt be much of a surprise when we share so many mutual aquaintances. So that's done with! I dont cut other people's lawn....so adios stranger

I havent had the chance to hook up with any of my new found 'friends'lately but I have to..Im going through some serious withdrawl and would have to admit that Im missin a little....note to self - get some this weekend!

I've been receiving some really decent comments these last few blogs and I thank you all. It's such a unique forum for us to share our thoughts, rantings etc and I didnt think I'd enjoy it as much as I do. So thanks all, keep em comin!

Thought for the night....do you think that we put too much stock in a site like this..how much value do we place on the people we meet or will potentially meet..and are we setting the bar so high that the ones we think we dont want are really the ones we do...

Nite all!

My Momma did a good job of raising myself and my siblings.

With any luck, tomorrow will be *dreadfully* boring. We'll be doing what's called "Standby" - since there have been major changes in the areas we've been working in, Ford requires the presence of each trade involved... in case something goes wrong and needs to be fixed. Hopefully, nothing will arise, and the next few weeks will be eight hours of mind-numbing boredom.

I am SO glad that I took today off. After working the entire weekend - ten hours on Saturday afternoon, and six on Sunday (we got kicked out of the plant at 11PM last night, so the 'regular' maintenance crew could do their start-up chores...) I needed a break. Got caught up on the chores, and recharged my batteries. Tomorrow afternoon it's back to the old grind.

I don't know about anyone else here... but it doesn't matter to me WHERE I meet someone - it's the person, not the medium, that matters.
