What triggers emotions here for you?

The wierd thing about this site is that everytime I come back to visit, I experience different emotions. Yesterday I was happy cause a couple people joined my network who I was hoping would, but today one of them opted out, which was wierd cause I have no idea why. Funny how little things like that can bug us, even if it's rejection at the lowest end of the scale. Last month was much more catastrophic though as someone who I'd met thru AdultFriendFinder and had grown to love very much was wrenched away from me even though we both wanting to continue our friendship. I'm still not over it but I know that life must go on. I read a blog this morning that really touched me as the blogger shared her heart and I could really feel her pain. It made me wish I could do more for people who are hurting but sometimes it's hard to know what to say. But I'm glad to have a place like this, because it was neat to read the comments of her friends and even though there advice may not help much, the fact that they cared enough to listen and take the time to share, I'm sure would go a long way.

Anyways, I'm interested to hear from others what kind of emotions you've experienced lately at AdultFriendFinder?

yesterday I was ranting, but happy, now today I feel alone and blue. It all depends on who is on to chat, and who has sent me mail, and if I have not talked to that special someone today.

I know what you mean. I have experienced rejection from someone, who I had invited to join my network. The person was very attractive to me, but, for whatever reason, they rejected me. Also, I have felt unsure, about whether people want to hook-up on here or not. I have to say, that there are some who do. I appreciate those who do. But, yeah, you come on here, with high expectations and sometimes you get knocked on your ass, but that's cool, that's what life is about. I would say, don't put all your apples into one basket, to quote my mom. So, I am not bashing the site, or people on here, I am just saying, hopefully people feel my drift on my comment.

Thanx for your comment Diamonddiva. I came on here thinking 'variety was the spice of life' but then realized that maybe I'm an'all your apples in one basket' kind of person. lol. Even if it hurts more when things don't work out, I like it better... it's just more who I am.

Hey Goddess, glad you're enjoying it here! I actually checked out Darius's blog last night and was really impressed. That guy is gifted. He's the kind of person that makes you feel like "damn, I suck at writing" lol.
