Honesty, or lack thereof, in ads


I'm not just talking about men with 5-inchers claiming 8-inch endowment, or "average" sized women actually being the average of all above average weights.

I'm talking about honesty in who you are, what you're looking for, etc.

For instance, you have the woman calling herself both "FatUglyTroll" and "sexpirate19125" who claims to live in both Cape May, N.J. and Philadelphia. Oh, she also claims to be 30 in the first ad and 41 in the second. Maybe she's discovered faster-than-light travel to reverse aging through some relatavistic process.

Meanwhile, another woman says (not direct quote, but very close): "I'm honest with my husband about everything. Discretion needed."

Which one of those two sentences is likely not to be true?

Now, I don't want to sound like I'm picking on women. But, as a straight man, I look at women's ads.

Besides, women on a site like this are often demanding honesty of men. Remember, that cuts both ways.
