Faith in forgetting

You know not where to begin,
Will this mind even let you in.

The depths are broken,
many words have been spoken.

Few ring true.
So what will you do?

Leave it to be,
for you see -

It will not be done with ease,
These eyes have long seen,
Waiting, watching people do as they please,
with nary a care.

Things are as they should be.
Best left forgotten,
laying unknown, not to see,
for knowing will cause a rotten,

Feeling within,
You dare not begin.

You have no desire
none to see this fire.

To be cast to the unknown,
or to be shown..

The many ways,
reality plays,

with a mind so bold,
one that caused has young become old.

It is best left forgotten,
more -not less- often.

make of it what you will ...but perhaps you don't know where to begin ....so it's best left forgotten ...

like so many other dreams and desires

Some dreams and desires are best unfulfilled. They stay more pure and unspoiled that way.

Such an old soul...but recall, please...one's last breath does not equate to death; forgetting how to love and live and dream and hope and desire does.
