Exciting times?

Well, the last couple evening have been a bit interesting ... depending on your definition of interesting.

Tonight I spent most of the night paying bills and looking for a reasonable airfare to Portland, Maine for that wedding in September -I know I've mentioned it here before- so nothing too special ..well other than spending my last half hour at work on a forklift trying to get at a pair of 500lbs barrels of metal cutting lubricant .... just to get everything ready and realize that instead of 54 gallon drums they'd ordered 5 gallon pails - oops... either way I fixed that in hurry and still got the pails pulled from inventory in time to still ship them today.

Yesterday -Sunday ... so yesterday as of when I'm writing - I helped move a safe/vault at one of my uncles who then made halibut and salmon shark for supper ... good stuff, the halibut and some of the shark was breaded in parasian cheese & potato chip mix, the rest of the shark was made up with just lemon juice and some spices. -Definitely tasty though.

Of course then we also got to see some pictures of his trip to Alaska - he'd gone with a friend (I'm not sure what else to call her- basically it looked like a fun trip - fishing, sight seeing, glaciers, sharks & shotguns (ya gotta kill the shark somehow). Also saw a picture of his cabing for the first time - he moved back to Minnesota maybe 10(?) years ago after having lived in Alaska and working on an oil rig for I don't know how long.

Geez, now that I think about it it seems that I know a lot of interesting people ... so I wonder how the heck I get seen as interesting ...it's not like I've gone anywhere all that interesting or do anything all that exciting .... okay, maybe there are a few things like smashing that wall with a 35lb weight throw -it's a lot like throwing hammer , except heavier- and sending that guy flying & sliding through the mud in football (I think he ended up 3-4 yards back from where he started) ... but really all I do is think about stuff ...and that's something anyone and everyone can do....

Anyone and everyone CAN think...but few do...and NO one thinks exactly like YOU! That is special, thank you.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so they say. So too, is "interesting." You got that in spades, just by being yourself. You don't have to see it....that's not your job. Its nice to find someone who can make you think, and you def do that!
