Wild...(as in funny)

I was on my way though the site to check in on my blog when I stopped by the group I'm in. Anyway tonight was a group social event and I wasn't able to attend. Not the point but I did notice that since it was 9:00pm when the chat usually runs and there were two guys hanging out I decided to do a little social duty and tell them that the mod and coordinator would not be in because of the party. So I drop in and am typing my statement when one guy leaves and a gal arrives. So I cut my statement and say hi and get ready to type when one of them asks a question and I realize I can alter my type to fit the question and make my statement. Anyway they start talking about the group and I realize that they don't know about the group too much so I somehow wind up giving all the details, explanations, and things. Suddenly I'm hosting the chat instead of standing in the back ready to throw out a piece of info if needed. Well the guy leaves and the woman is asking a number of things. So after a few people come in and leave just after I say hi, I ask if she'd like to talk a bit more privately so I can give other details like the secret sister group info . So I chat with her for a couple of hours. She may come to a meeting if its in the vicinity. Made a new friend. Of course I don't want to make a habit of holding the reins of the group. Certainly couldn't if things were at normal pace but it was interesting to try a different hat on for a change of pace.

What was 'wrong' with that? You helped some people out, you got to 'play' online, and it's not like you haven't helped plan the actual M&Gs at times, so...?
