My boys

What would my life be like without my guy friends? Boring as fuck. They keep me on my toes, that's for sure. I love hangin out with them. It's uncomplicated and feels good. I can say anything to a guy where I feel that I have to sensor my comments to my lady friends. Perhaps because I think like a man most of the time. If I feel like gettin raunchy, they give as good as they get. Don't get me wrong, I love my girls, but I can't always get what I need from them. All my men have strong personalities. They definitely run the show, especially in their relationships. I am just drawn to that type of man. Some are attached, some aren't. I have a bag of mixed nuts, bikers, some blue collar and some white collar guys. Ok, a few rednecks too, there are you happy now? If I feel like wrestling or just goin nuts, they're more than willing to play along. They have been more of a father/friend to my kids than their own dad. My kids love it when they come around, it's just a fun time. More important, they are able to see what a healthy relationship with a man is suppose to be.

Their dad was not the nicest person, let's put it that way. It's important for them to see how men and women get along in a healthy way, not destructive.

Hello collaredmuff,

It's wonderful that you have strong relationships with your guy friends. There are many Women that have strong personalities and I think it is equally important that your children have that mix as well. No man has ever "run the show" in any of my relationships. When you say that your children are able to see what a healthy relationship with a man is suppose to be, what do you mean?

Warm Regards,
