Re-Inventing Ourselves

In my 3 years on this site, I have gone through MANY changes. I have had ABUNDANT opportunity to discover what I DON'T want in terms of an intimate realtionship...one night stands; uptight republicans; men with not enough time for even the most fundamental of relationships; men curious, but INEXPERIENCED in the art of love; men seeking extra-ordinary experimentation (you want me to do WHAT !)....

And it seems that what I DIDN'T want grew in direct proportion to what I MIGHT be open to...younger men, older men, bad boys, nice guys, poets, romantics and most of all, FRIENDS....

It has been a most provocative journey. I have both found gems in the most unexpected places AND fell out of my chair over perversions that I didn't even know existed.

HENCE:

Every few months I have re-written my profile. And no...it wasn't a multiple personality disorder I simply changed as a result of my encounters (both personal and online).

SO...how many times have YOU re-written your profile? How have you changed during your time here? Both funny and serious thoughts most welcome.

Clever

I've only been at this for about two months and I recently changed my Introduction Title. I've been thinking of a complete overhaul but, I want to drive a few more miles, get a better feel for the landscape.

I changed my introduction to a self explanatory quote from Walt Kelly. However, your introduction does beg the question...What exactly does the authentication process entail?

Peace. Thanks for your kind help while I’ve been learning to “blog”.

You will find that the landscape is quite different in Blogland than it is in the general website...not quite as sexually focused.

If I had been more concise, I would have written "authentic person"...but I am trying to not confuse the lesbians, bi's, etc, with ambiguous words.

authentic- credible, true, trustworthy, worthy of confidence, not counterfeit or copied.

I have been reading a book about "authentic people" :

..."to do what one says and stand up for what one believes in" ..."one who goes through life honorably, straightforwardly, and faithfully to what one believes in."
