Escape from Betty Ford for Bloggers!

Maybe

1hotwahine

felt guilty.

It WAS, after all her post [blog 1hotwahine] that alerted my friends and family to my problems with blogging, and that resulted in the intervention that put me into Betty Ford Clinic for Bloggers. They had suspected all along that I had been lying about my blogging. Maybe Wahine's guilt got the best of her, because she agreed to help with today's break-out.

Bloggers Detox is scary stuff, kids. To ease the initial BT's (blogger's tremens) I was immediately given a stack of self-help magazines to read in my room. But when I'm needing of a fix of

humboldthonni

or

saintlianna

OPRAH doesn't even BEGIN to take the edge off!!!

I discovered pretty quickly that I had plenty of "bathroom time" in detox. There was no longer a need to "hold it" until I finished just ONE more post and TWO more comments. But, as devious as all addicts are known to be, the staff discovered me in the bathroom on my internet-enabled cell phone, trying to get a quick fix of

expatbrit49

before breakfast. I was locked in my room. But I BEGGED the staff for something to do with my fingers to help fill this huge hole I felt within me. They relented and gave me needle point material. I cross-stitched a post before lunch, and felt Oh so much better!

I asked the staff for more material and started hiding the needle point blogs around my room. Whenever I felt desperate, I would dig up one of the hidden blogs and REVISE it.

To make a long and painful story short, with clever Wahine's help, I am FREE!!! I am hiding out poolside, in Destin, Florida with my lap top. I am hoping that when I arrive home, bronzed beautifully by the sun, my family will believe that I am only a "problem blogger" and can therefore "blog in moderation."

P.S. Neither Bloggerette Gum ,nor the Blogatine Patch, has proved very effective, for as you see, HERE I AM! Any suggestions?

What a great imagination you have! This was just too funny! And I don't really have any further suggestions for you. There must be a 12 step program for bloggers addiction.

I'm laughing! Isn't it true...we all SAY we're taking a break but we just can't seem to stay away for long!! I just have to think of it that there are much worse things to be addicted to.
Hope you are enjoying the sun and happy to see you posting again!!

lol - Blogutrin... it might be worth a try sweetie. Of course, the cure, in my opinion, may be worse than the addiction.

I don't know if a 12-step program would work for us. You just KNOW that after the meeting, we would all run home to BLOG about it

Step away from the laptop. Easily...slowly...now close the lid...that's it. Keep walking....okay, a little faster now....now run! RUN LIKE THE WIND! It's too late for us but you can still save yourself!!!!

Yeah, I'm still [blog 1hotwahine]

You should have known better, how many times have I told you not to read the Expatbrit's blog Pervy Tails and Gross Pictures before Breakfast, that is not something you want to look at on an empty stomach and especially on a cell phone the pictures are small enough on a computer screen

Thank You for Your Time and Attention

But damn girl, I'm stuck in this deck chair and "I CAN'T GET UP!" Where is Life-Alert when I REALLY need them?

Who has a problem? (looking over my shoulder) What are you saying? (I didn't do anything, really) Do I spend too much time here? (what time is it?) Where is the sumn? What day is it? OMG, it's Tuesday? No, Friday? Crap....oohh..that's nice. What were you saying? I was too busy looking at the pretty photo to go along with the blog.

P.S. I think there might be a program called Blogger's Anonymous, but then everyone just signs on and types. No one really resolves anything.

Do you know what the Marquis De Sade used to write with when he was imprisoned and kept virtually in a cage?
    Not a pretty picture.
The urge isn't that bad, is it?
    Great piece.
color teal] Yes...his own blood! Great comparison! I'd forgotten about that little piece of erotic literary history...

Bet you are still blogging in your head, cuz you cant turn the imagination off so easily.

Dont worry. My motto is "follow your excitement". If blogging is that, then its all good.

As tills says, bloggers do (put your own word here) better.....
Yes...I am continually blogging in my head in response to my life with one of two thoughts: "I am SO blogging about this!" OR "Damn, I wish I could BLOG about this!"

This was good, lol. And who said Betty Ford's was worthwhile? I heard Xaviera Hollander has a follow your blog fantasy's clinic, and that it has so much fucking happening, you truly forget blogging.
Yeah, but I bet they blog about the clinic experience the MINUTE they get home!
